My daughter has so much fun playing with it and it keeps her engaged for a good long while. The pieces are all brightly coloured and the house itself is fairly easy to assemble, especially for older kids. My daughter managed it with some help and she is 5. It is mix and match as well, so there are plenty of possibilities of how the house can look depending on where you place each room. The only thing is it is quite small. I honestly expected something a lot larger that would be floor standing, but this is easily a tabletop size house. I mean, that is not necessarily a bad thing when it comes to storage, but just if you were expecting something large, it is not. It comes with so many accessories and there are a lot of surprise elements to open. The colour reveal mini Barbies are adorable, too, and these were definitely my daughter's favourite aspect of the whole thing. My 8 year old daughter loves this set! It took her about 4 hours to put together by herself. There blocks come in numbered bags so that each of the rooms or areas of the dream house are assembled separately and added to the whole house. This is perfect for kids to put together a little at a time or all at once without being over whelmed. There are several little block &quot;dolls&quot; and so many little accessories. These came as little blind bags that you could open and soak in water to reveal the doll and pet. My only complaint would be that one of the dolls took a lot of scrubbing to come clean - but it eventually did come clean. The others rinsed off with minimal effort. Includes 5 mini dolls ,each of which transform with the addition of water.We had lots of fun anticipating what would be revealed next. Cute pets include dogs,cats and Guinea pigs. The pieces are quite small so caution needed around much younger children. The actual house has 3 options of build design which helps to keep it exciting . Our favourite features are the recording studio in the loft and also the up / down lift . Endless play opportunities with the variety of little accessories included in the box-each of the 5 rooms gives a different play concept. Additional play sets can also be purchased to add to the experience. Great alternative to the original Barbie dolls . This is a great toy which I would recommend for 5/6 yrs. it is fairly small once built so best for 2 or less children to play with at one time . It's very well made a sturdy, lots of accessories and plenty of fun to be had. Only downside would be that the accessories are quite small so could easily be lost amongst other toys. Putting each section together was loads of fun and my daughter loved revealing each Barbie in each package. My son even got into it because he adores building and found this to be such a unique set. The final product was a multi room house, each with pieces that can be moved around, and each with different Barbies that can be played with like in a doll house. So I thought this would be great for her with it being a dreanhouse. She loves it. It took her a bit of time to big but we got there in the end and it's brilliant. The mega dreamhouse contains a lot of accessories eg cats dogs, pool and people. She loved how you at to reveal the colour on the lego people by putting them in water and then getting a cloth to wipe them.
