This set is nice because the blocks are large, colorful, lightweight &amp; connect easily. Great for tower building! There are a lot of unique shapes. My daughter likes picking up the sun and clouds and pretending the weather is changing. There are vehicles with rolling wheels and a barn. The box the blocks came in is sturdy and we kept it to store the pieces. My two year old son was very engaged with it. The pieces are easy to build and dismantle. The manual that came with the blocks was great! It was easy to follow with great pictures to show you how to make it step by step. Thus, we were easily able to make the pieces look like the pieces on the box! As we made each part, we talked about what it was and how it&rsquo;s important to our environment. My son played with the set both with me and independently. He especially loved the tractor. He is a lover of animals and vehicles, so this was a great toy. He loved the moving parts, building with the blocks, playing with the people, and the little chickens. I think the only way this set could be improved is maybe including a couple more animals. The chickens are rather small, and the barn is large. It would have been neat to see a bigger animal, like a cow, pig, or sheep. I do however love the messages being taught here, about keeping our planet cleaner etc. so I am not going to dock it any stars. It is a great toy overall. We have a bunch of mega bloks (including the table). Everything is compatible, which provides endless possibilities. I always find that the mega bloks are well made (toddlers uses them and they can withstand quite a beating). What I like about this set, Grow and Protect Farm, as an adult, is that it provides ample opportunities to talk about what it means to be green and it also gives the ability to expand you child&rsquo;s vocabulary. There is so much to talk about it. It teaches children the importance of working with the land to preserve its resources. My granddaughter was immediately in love with the product. The overall shape and feel of the pieces make it very child friendly. She loved being able to create the characters in the set which also supported diversity in the world. My granddaughter could see herself in the characters which is an important part of imaginative play. She loves animals and moving vehicles which the set is built around. She also started a garden outside with her mom. The detail in the set is outstanding and works great with other Green Town Mega Bloks sets.The moving pieces of the set let her create her own unique style of play that everyone has. This set Also enforces the importance of recycling and reusing the resources that we have. Her mom is able to tell important stories about the environment through the use of this play set. The guidelines on the stories included in the set lets my daughter gauge conversations with my granddaughter about our environment. She is able to use play time as a teaching moment about water conservation. The importance of using a reusable water bottle instead of plastic. While out in the yard she uses the play pieces to tell her about the importance of honey bees. This set also reinforces why she has a garden and is successful growing some vegetables that she will eat on her own dinner table. Overall this is an excellent product that will provide thousands of hours of playing and learning. The reason I chose this reading is because of the lack of farm animals. My child is enjoying this because they love blocks but I can see them losing interest because it&rsquo;s kind of boring without the farm animals. The product quality is great when you put the blocks together they&rsquo;re very tight.
