It is very easy to use and its small size is a great improvement over the traditional larger pump. The pump is quiet and very effective at expressing breast milk. The flanges fit well with no issues and are very easy to clean. This is a great pump for anybody who is pumping at home, on the go or at work. I specially liked it for work because of its small size and the ease of packing it as compared to my older larger pump. Also charges very fast - not having to be plugged into an outlet is amazing. On the go pumping is a breeze with the Swing Maxi! Love that is came with a backpack as well. The pumps I have had in the past lacked the convenience of pumping at the speed I needed. Then Stellar Product Testing Panel sent me the Medela Swing Maxi Pump and I was blown away. The efficiency of this pump takes things to another level with pumping. From the different speeds, it offers to all of the accessories it provides all in one box is amazing. Not only can I pump in the car but while giving the little one a bath, cooking basically everywhere I need to pump I can. It has also helped me on the go in my car or at a relative's house. The pump is so easy to use I had no problems setting everything up within minutes. Cleaning was a breeze and I did not have to set aside extra time to clean everything. It was super easy and convenient for me. The Medela family app provided so much information and because I have an iPhone it was so easy to install and start using right away. It provides ways you can shop, connect your pump, and also gives information on pregnancy and your kids which is nice. I told my sister inlaw about the app she installed it and it is helping her track her pregnancy which is so amazing. That's the super nice thing that I love about the app as well as how it connects so fast and shows my pumping informaiton. My favorite part of the pump is the side and speed levels and I can't forget how adorable to small backpack it came with which is a lifesaver for me. It's also very easy to clean and I WISH so badly that it worked for me. The bad: I tried my best, but I just could not match the output I get with my other pump. I used all the recommended practices (starting with stimulation and increasing suction with comfort etc.) and I got maybe half the amount of milk as I normally I did in the same amount of time. I wish that it was my go-to pump, but unfortunately I had to set it aside after several weeks. The convenience of the portability was negated by my diminished output. I love the design, it's just not the pump for me. I was excited to try it as I had used a medela pump with my first child a few years ago and wanted to see what improvement they had made (I selected a different pump for my second child). First the good: 1. It is compact - the pump itself is small and fits easily into the backpack that is provided. 2. It is compatible with the other medela products ( which was important because I needed to use my old 27mm flanges from my other pump as I became raw after 2 sessions). 3. It is quieter than my old pump. 4. The battery lasted 3 sessions and charges with a USB-c cable. Now the not so good: 1. It only came with the 21mm and 24mm options, so had I not already had the 27, I would have had to purchase them. It would be nice if medela would give you the option. 2. I pumped less milk with this pump ( an ounce or 2 per session). 3. It's quiet, but not as quiet as my current pump. 4. I could only do 3 pumping sessions without charging the battery, where I can do 2 days (8-10 sessions) with my current one. 5.
