<span itemprop="description">This is a terrible pump. It doesnt empty and takes forever. The bag is tiny and doesnt fit anything else into it besides the pump, which as an exclusive pumper, was terrible!
The pump is also really loud, and mold grows inside the inside cover. The "valves" are flimsy and the whole set up is uncomfortable.</span>

<span itemprop="description">I love this the medela products and how the advance in style pump works for me. It's easy to use and I love the battery option. I never had any issues with my first child but unfortunately this time around I have a mild issue under the face plate on the motor. Medela will not back its product over a year, so if you plan to breast feed longer than a year, keep this in mind. I didn't know I should be checking the motor for mold which is very disappointing.</span>

<span itemprop="description">I got this a couple weeks ago after giving birth to my baby, it didn't come in on time so I rented a hospital grade pump for a month as well and have been able to compare. While this doesn't have fancy features, it does it's job and it is portable which is a huge bonus with how much I travel. The only downside, and my reason for one star missing, it is SO LOUD. It sounds like someone jumping on an old spring bed. The description says portable to be discreet, how can you possibly be discreet when the entire house can hear the motor? It does it's job and I get far more milk than my hospital grade pump, the little knob to turn up suction is great and I love how portable it is but I can't stand how loud it is.</span>

After asking other moms and reading reviews I decided on the medela pump in style advanced backpack. I went back to work after my baby turned 3 months so the backpack was great to store everything, take it to work or eben pump super easy in my car if I had to. The pump is secure in the backpack and won't fall out. I also got a pump bra so with the backpack in my shoulders i could even do the dishes or something while pumping.</span>

<span itemprop="description">So I received this pump free through my insurance. Very quickly I had to get a new one. When pumping with this it was great, until about a month into using it. I used it daily, many times a day, very religiously. It ended up not being able to suck the milk out efficiently after a month, I would have it on its highest settings and nothing. I ended up getting a spectra s2 and my god it's amazing, I use it just as often as I did my medela and over 3 times a long a time and it's still just like it was when I first bought it, perfect.
This would be a great traveling pump but I don't think it was designed to be used 4+ times a day every day for 20+ min increments. I love medela but this was a little disappointing after hearing how amazing they are.</span>

<span itemprop="description">I purchased this pump for two reasons: One, I had heard the Medela brand mentioned during La Leche League meetings; two, the pump was competively priced well on Amazon. I wish I had not purchased this pump at all! The suction is HORRIBLE! You have to turn it on high in order to empty your breasts resulting in sore nipples. I have seen a lot of Instagram influencers who have switched the membranes on the pump so I will try that in the future. Also, compared to other pumps in the market, this pump doesn't offer much other than accessories. There is no light (to pump at night), no variation of adjustments that include suction and speed, or a timer. Most of the time when I pump, I use my manual one and especially when traveling. I have heard several people say the same thing! In summary, this pump is a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT! For anyone reading this review, I would recommend that you look into hospital grade pumps before purchasing a Medela model. There are some on the market that are priced equal to this one!</span>

The PISA just looked so nice and portable that I thought I just had to have one. I have been using this pump for over 3 weeks and still cannot get my milk to express with this pump. I have spent even more money on shields because that's what they said was wrong when I called customer service. I am so upset that I purchased this pump. It doesn't have near the settings or suction of my spectra and cost almost twice as much. I'm highly disappointed.</span>

Cons:
-- the pump is stuck into the backpack and cannot be separated
-- the backpack is great but doesn't allow for much extra room to store/bring anything else in it. if you have other things to carry with you, could become burdensome to carry several backpacks or bags
-- the suction mechanism isn't as strong if doing one breast at a time
-- you will need to buy a hands-free bra when doing both breasts, otherwise you'll have to be creative with holding everything</span>

I wish it came with a tool to clean the nooks and crannies of some of the parts though! Some places are harder to get to than others.</span>

It helped me get my milk supply up after she was born as it was late. Breatfeeding never worked for us due to lip and tongue ties and we have been pumping and bottle feeding to a very well fed baby. The pump is stony enough to help with supply. Pumping on the go is easy and I love the battery power for the times I’m not at home, like driving.</span>

<span itemprop="description">I got this pump before I had my second child. I really like the convenience of a backpack to carry it around (more comfortable than the purse). It also has a lot of pockets perfect for carrying wallet/keys/phone, so you don't have to take an additional purse for your own personal items. The couple things I don't like are the instructions call for the entire kit (ideally) to be sterilized in boiling water every single day, which is basically impossible, and when I first attempted to do that, I ended up with a lot of hard water buildup on all the parts. Also, I cannot get my battery pack to work (but knowing me that might be user error). The suction is very good and you should have no issue getting enough suction! I have to keep it on almost the very lowest setting to avoid being painful from sucking too hard.</span>

<span itemprop="description">This product has made pumping on the go and at work as convenient as it can be. It's really nice being able to pack everything I could need in the backpack. Including batteries just in case I need to pump somewhere with no outlets.</span>

The only issue I have is having to have this product plugged in for use and I want to be able to use in the car if need be without access to an outlet.</span>

<span itemprop="description">Very happy with this product. I started pumping about 1 week after my daughter was born because my breast were engorged. The suction can be gradually increased and did not cause any pain. I do wish there were less parts to make cleaning a lot faster but it is a great pump that I will be using for the next year.</span>
