I have been using my pump in style breast pump since my son was discharged from the NICU @ a week and a half old. While it is not quite as strong as the symphony I was able to use in the hospital, I have great output and have been happy overall with the pump. I like that it comes with a battery pack so that I can pump on the go. You do have to be careful of your movements when you&rsquo;re pumping so that milk does not get into the tubes, as I learned it can get into the motor and ruin the pump. If you have parts for any older pumps, you can't use them on this one. Now you're stuck with a bunch of extra stuff that you basically have to throw out. I'm not producing enough to waste any! The cups don't fit well and I've always been really small cup, sure things are bigger now, but I can't imagine they are an abnormal size. The bag barely fits everything back in and while my baby is in the NICU and I'm back and forth every day I'm always struggling to get it put away. It's loud and clunky sounding, sounds like a cheap bit of garbage about to die any day. It gets one star because it is portable with the battery pack, which only lasted a few days with 8 batteries. The settings are not nearly strong enough to adequately express milk. The short let down phase could also be confusing to first time moms. I am constantly overriding the phases to revert back to let down to increase cycle length. The breast shields now impede your view of how much milk is being expressed. I personally found it beneficial to be able to directly see how much/how often you are expressing milk. I do not like the upgrades breast shields. The large membranes are rather cumbersome. &hellip;Did a breastfeeding/pumping women actually test this product before Medela started to manufacture this pump? I have started to let this pump gather dust in my closet while I dusted off my far superior Spectra Breast Pump. The difference in what I can express/pump is unmatched. The first thing I noticed is that this pump is LOUD by comparison and annoying especially in the middle of the night. The suction just does not feel very strong and I less milk than expected. I also still felt full after pumping. The colored connectors are inconvenient because its hard to tell how full the bottles are and it&rsquo;s difficult to change bottles if you happen to have an oversupply like I do. I wish I just had a second Advanced. I love the let down option, and how you can set it to different suction levels. After purchasing a pumping bra, it's super easy to just chill and let it do it's thing, and the flanges fit great. My only issue is that for the last month, it has started acting up. When I hit the power button, it sounds like it is working, but there is no suction. I have to mess around with it, keep increasing the suction, or unplug and replug it in several times to get it actually suctioning. Other than that it is great, I had to replace the tube after about a month, and replacement parts are easy to find.
