I received this pump through my insurance and regret it greatly. The suction is awful and I can barely get 2oz total when I pump with it. My medela hand pump is amazing and I get 3+ oz each pump. This pump has so many issues. Here's a running list...
1. There's no visible timer
2. You can't see if milk is coming out or if your nipple is hitting the back of the flange
3. It auto switches out of massage mode after 60 seconds
4. There's no way of knowing what level suction you're on or if it's increasing/decreasing at the max/min
5. It does not empty your breasts
6. The collection bottles are tiny
7. It's very loud
8. You can't single pump
9. It requires 8 batteries to be "wireless" and then has a giant battery pack just hanging off it
I'm sure there's a tenth issue, but that's all I can think of for now.

The Worst Pump
This is the worst pump. Medela used to be known for how amazing their products were and 6 years ago their pump saved my breastfeeding journey with my first son. With my second son it has almost ruined it. I have spoken with several laceration consultants through the hospital where I delivered to figure out how I can pump breast milk to be able to return to work full time in a few weeks because as of right now - if I skip a feed and have very full breasts - the Medela pump will only pump 0.5oz out of BOTH breasts. I was informed it is my pump and that Medela changed the way they make their pumps (which is true). I was told it has almost caused so many nursing mothers to quit because they aren’t able to pump any amount to breast milk for when they aren’t there to feed their baby. Sure enough, I put a Haakaa to my breast and was able to pull off several ounces in less than 15mins. I was told to either find my old Medela pump to use or to use a Spectra instead. This pump’s suction does not mimic a baby at all. It is cheap. It is unreliable. DO NOT BUY.

So much worse than my last Medela pump
I received this pump through my insurance. This is my third child and I used medela pumps with my first two without issue. However, my newest pump in style has not worked well. The suction barley pulls any milk. At first I thought it was the placement of the flanges as I pumped for about 15 min and hardly got any milk, but without moving them, I hooked the flanges up to my older pump and was able to extract several ounces of milk in under 10 minutes. I then checked the membranes and didn’t see any issues with them. I thought the pump was faulty so I called and was sent a replacement. Same problem with the replacement. Whatever changes Medela has made to the pump in style are for the worse. I would stay away from this pump.
I did give 2 stars because the customer service in dealing with the warranty was great. They were very helpful and replaced the pump quickly.

Got this pump through insurance just because I had a Medela the first time around and it's the brand my hospital uses. I hate this pump! The pump itself is loud, but I mainly take issue with the accessories. First red flag was when none of the bottles came with nipple pieces to actually feed my child what I had pumped. The white connector between the flanges and the bottles are so heavy that they always tip over-spilling that precious liquid gold. They also leak if they are not perfectly in place. Even the slightest angle will cause this stupid thing to leak milk all over you for 15 minutes before you've noticed because it's 2:00 AM and you're exhausted. Talk about heartbreak... I will NEVER recommend this pump to anyone I even remotely like. Get yourself a Spectra. They're super quiet and have a freaking light on them for those 2:00 AM pump sessions! Genius! Do not recommend
I wish I read more of the 1 star reviews before I chose this breast pump. First, the new design of the bottles is very inconvenient to hold. Unless I’m wearing a pumping bra 24/7 or every time I have to pump then it’s not easy to hold at all. Second, the new membrane design is SO particular, if it’s off by a millimeter then the suction barely works and I’m not producing any milk. There have been several times when I had to stop pumping and adjust the membrane, and restart because it wasn’t working right. And lastly, I can not see how many ounces I’ve pumped because the numbers on the bottle are clear and you can not read them when there is milk in the bottles. I can barely see them when the bottles are empty but especially after I’ve pumped I have no idea how much is in there so I have to dump all my milk into another bottle and then store it in a bag. I’ve used the older medela pump a few years ago with my last baby and that pump was so much better, I’m highly disappointed. Pumping is stressful enough and using this pump is so frustrating I just want to cry.
The only reason I gave 2 stars is because it’s relatively quiet which is nice.

This pump is horrible. My daughter won’t latch so I have to exclusively pump. The membranes only last for a couple of days and it’s costing a decent amount to have to keep replacing them. The suction is very inconsistent and my milk supply is being severely affected. I’m going to have to buy a new pump to try to get my milk supply up so I don’t have to switch to formula.

Loud, suction and settings are so-so. My husband paid out of pocket in a desperate attempt to get me a pump with flanges that were my size asap because i was in pain from using the wrong size (didnt know for awhile). It was sweet but i woshbi woukdve endured the pain of using the wrong size flanges with the other pump until getting new flanges in the mail and saved the money because this one never empties my breasts fully, doesnt have a tome display, has a short mode for let down and is super loud. Oh and after a week or so the suctions weaker and you cant use the parts interchangeably with other pumps.

I really wanted to like this pump, because it's a perfect size for transporting to work and I was hoping it's "max flow" thing would make pumping more efficient. Unfortunately I get significantly better results with my old (5 years) pump in style advance.
This new pump feels like it jumps or vibrates unnecessarily which makes it SUPER loud sitting on any hard surface and translates to a weird jerking/pulling sensation on the breast. I ended up renting a hospital grade pump while my baby was in NICU because I couldn't stand using this one. I have used it only a handful of times in 3 months. The only upside is I got it through insurance so I'm not out any money for a subpar product.

This is a great small, simple to use pump. The parts are easy to clean. I have not tried taking it out, but plan to use this at work. I do have to pump for 45 minutes to feel completely empty. The pump is loud and after using it for 45 minutes the pump motor sounds like it might break. I pump 5-6 times a day. I just ordered the Sonata and will use the PIS for travel.

Suction in temporary
I’ve been using this pump for one month and the suction is terrible. It will literally lesson in suction while you are pumping. It’s effected my milk production at this point. I’m constantly unhooking and reattaching hoses or the back of the bottles while pumping to reengage suction. Because of the pumping is constantly stopping and starting. It take almost an hour to get 3 ounces. Get literally any other pump. Also the buttons are not good either you have to push them just right for the function of said button to work. Super annoying when you have a newborn and are bumping. Did these get beta tested at all? I’m trying to find an older model models. Back when there was great suction and dials on the pump. 10 years ago these pumps were the best ones to have. They have really fallen to the wayside it seems.

Absolute worst pump ever! I’ve had two in the past 10.5 months. The first pump I got through insurance, it stopped suctioning around month 6 of use. So I called Medela and they replaced it no problem. The replacement pump they sent me is starting to have the same problems so I called them and they are asking for proof of purchase on the pump they sent me??? Don’t waste your time. Get yourself a Spectra.

Non. Car ce sont davantage des contenants de conservation du lait maternel que des biberons.
