The nipple style is similar to the pacifier she was currently using, so that helped. I only allow pacifiers that are one solid piece so this was perfect. I love that there are no cracks or crevices for food or spit-up to get stuck. The silicone is sturdy, yet flexible so it makes a really fun teething item as well. The shape is great because it hits under her nose and is also super easy for her to hang on to and put back in her own mouth. It was thoughtfully designed with a small ring to hold it without getting it dirty. I like the flatter shape of the nipple which mimics a baby&rsquo;s natural breast latch. I feel like my little one was able to hold on to this one well. My favorite part is the extra tough of the small bumps that ensure extra airflow while sucking. This nipple was longer than the brand he prefers (he gagged on this pacifier the first few times we gave it to him) and the overall shape of the pacifier seemed too big for his face. The outside part on the top of the pacifier was too long and kept hitting him in the nose when he sucked on it. It seems like this product may be better suited to an older baby. I'm hoping he will like it better in a few months. I should note that he is not small for his age. He&rsquo;s in the 65th percentile for weight and 70th percentile for height. I like that the pacifier is all silicone so it's soft on my baby's face, but it seems heavier than the brand he prefers. Also, I like that there's an indent on the front side where the nipple is. This is ideal for a baby who is new to pacifiers. It works well to tap this indent with your finger to help the baby take the pacifier. The small bumps on the pacifier seemed to work well to prevent irritation as well. I also like that the pacifier is one piece, so water does not become trapped in the nipple like it does with other brands. I didn't like how small the hole is to attach the pacifier clip. The pacifier clips I use have a button to snap around the pacifier, but the hole on these pacifiers are too small to fit. I would make this opening larger. The Steribox worked well to sterilize the pacifiers in the microwave. I also like to use this box as a carrying case for pacifiers while on the go. I like that the box has plastic stabilizers inside to keep the pacifiers from rattling or making noise while they are in the diaper bag. It would be nice to have the sterilization instructions etched into the box. I love that the whole thing is silicon so even if he takes it out and just kind of chews on it, the whole thing is soft. I also really like how pliable the nipple is as I think it seems more natural to my baby. The design, a little bear, is very cute, and I like that there is a little hole so you can connect the paci to a clip. This pacifier has been the most successful with my baby and I think that has a lot to do with the well thought out design of it. He is used to something light weight and was already 4 months old when he received this to try. We gave it to him on multiple occasions, but he rejected it after no more than a few minutes. For my son, it was too big for him as a 4 month old and my impression was that it was too heavy. That all being said, about a month later he started teething and chewing on everything, so while waiting for some teething toys to arrive I gave this another try. He loved chewing on it, not necessarily as intended, but all over! The heavier rubber was perfect for his discomfort and seemed to bring him some relief. I have held on to it rather than retiring it as it has grown on him slightly as he has aged and started a new phase. In terms of characteristics, I liked the breathability and durability of it. It cleans easily and the sanitizing case was an added benefit. Although I will not buy more for my son, I would consider getting this same model and brand should I have another child and starting it off with this immediately. He took to it immediately after using another popular brand. What I appreciate most is that it is one solid piece of soft, flexible silicone. There is no risk of the mouthpiece detaching from the nipple portion. I also love that it is extremely easy to clean. Other pacifier brands I have used have nooks and crevasses where dirt accumulates and it is difficult to clean these areas without feeling like the pacifier is coming apart. A nipple brush easily cleans the outside and inside of the pacifier nipple. The steribox it comes with makes it extremely convenient to sterilize both pacifiers simultaneously in the microwave. I also like how soft the silicone is. It is durable yet flexible. The mouthguard is thick yet lightweight and has a loop for attaching a clip. It is the perfect size for little mouths. I also liked that there are little bumps on the inside of the mouthpiece that allow air to flow between the skin and silicone preventing irritation from moisture. The only issue I came across was the silicone did stain a light orange when he was given the pacifier shortly after being fed pureed carrots. Not a big deal but worth mentioning. My only other wish is it was glow in the dark for nighttime use. This is the main time my infant takes a pacifier and why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. I like that the meddle it is lightweight but quality silicone. The shape of the tip is orthodontic and natural looking to support my breastfed baby. While I loved that this pacifier is lightweight, it also sometimes made it hard to grab! Specifically, when I would be reaching around my baby's co-sleeper at night to try to do a binky replacement, I would have trouble finding it or I would easily knock it away in my search. I wish that there was a sturdier piece on the tip that weighed it down to make grabbing it a little easier. When I first received this pacifier, my initial reaction was how cute this pacifier is. It is shaped like a bear and the colors are neutral and translucent so it goes with any outfit. It is also lightweight, very flexible, and the shape of it leaves room around the babies nose so it does not get covered. I really enjoy how soft this pacifier is, it does not leave a pacifier shaped imprint around my baby&rsquo;s mouth after using it for a long time. My four month old baby is usually very picky with his pacifier but after a few tries he took the pacifier and has been using it ever since. The nipple is very flat and thin, a feature that my breast fed baby prefers. The back of a the pacifier has a part that sticks out with a hole in the middle of it so it is easy put and hold it in my baby&rsquo;s mouth and add pacifier accessories to it. The containers that the pacifiers come in are also very convenient because they can be used to sterilize the pacifiers. Overall, this pacifier has met every area of expectations and is an amazing product that I will be using in the future. This pacifier seemed a little too big for my baby's face when he was only a few weeks old,&nbsp; although it's better now that he's older. I liked the soft silicone feel of this pacifier as compared to other pacifiers. I didn't worry about it cracking or getting broken at all. The other cool feature with this pacifier is the Steribox that you can use in the microwave to sterilize the pacifier. It's also a great case to use to transport the pacifier if you're going places. No nooks for water or saliva to get trapped which keeps it breathable. The subtle outline of the bear is so cute and I love the soft muted color. My favorite feature of the pacifiers is how easy they are to sterilize. Just a little water and a microwave in the provided container and they are clean again. After many attempts in many different settings, he just did not care for it. The size was great and hugged his face nicely without covering his nose, but perhaps the flat nipple is what turned him off. With this being number 3, having a pacifier that needs to be placed in babes mouth a certain way (especially when doing it blindly while driving) isn&rsquo;t my favorite. The colors were subdued and the little owl was so cute and I liked that it was lightweight but sturdy. I feel like it would make a good chew toy when little man starts teething! My favorite thing about this pacifier was the case! I love being able to sterilize in my microwave in the case. Keeps the paci safe and easy to find in a diaper bag and easy to sterilize in case of an emergency! In the end, my babe just didn&rsquo;t care for this pacifier and preferred another brand that we had on hand.
