My eldest son had some and now I'm building this with my youngest daughter. It's great watching them build something that they are going to play with. It gives them a sense of pride when finished aswell as the fun of playing with it.
My daughter has now asked for some for Christmas and after spending many funny and happy memories building it I will definitely be getting her more.</span>

<span itemprop="description">[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this for my car-mad 10 year old He loved the idea of building model vehicles Unfortunately, the included manual only has 3 of the models' build instructions in it with the other 22 models' instructions requiring downloading from Meccano's website. No problem I thought... until we went on there to discover that there are no additional online instructions for this kit (just a PDF copy of the original manual). A lot of hunting around the Meccano site and I found nothing. So please note... not all instructions are available.
However, despite this, I'll pop on another review star because my son loves it and is well on his way to building the 'Supercar' (with a bit of help from me there are lots of fiddly small nuts and bolts that come with this.
I may mark this review up if the additional instructions turn up on their website...</span>

<span itemprop="description">[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son and his dad spent half a day very engrossed in putting it together. Takes time and patience to assemble. Teaches how things are really put together, instead of just being snapped together. After assembling model my son played with it for few minutes batteries ran off and cannot be replaced without dismantling the whole model. So so disappointing. My husband said it's definitely to difficult for 10year old child even for himself it was a bit tricky from time to time to understand the instructions. Otherwise toy look fantastic, metal parts all smoothe without sharp ends so my toddler also can play with it. My son very happy.</span>
