The cannon moves up and down, left &amp; right so is not only fun but it also helps with directions and aim. This truck comes equipped with working lights and sounds, and actually drives and shoots water. Its bright red color and realistic sounds and lights delight any child. The truck measures over 13 inches long and is made of durable plastic. There are three buttons and two controllers located on the back topside of this truck. The orange buttons control whether you have the truck move forward or backward, and the blue button controls the water. The motorized fire hose on the truck is controlled by the two red levers. You can move the hose up and down and also in a circular motion. It can shoot water up to 6 feet away. My son loves that this truck comes with 6 plastic fire targets. He is able to set them up around his base camp, and pretend to put them out with the actual stream of water. The bottom of the truck has an on/off switch and also a water reservoir. The plastic container is easy to fill and twisted on and off onto the truck. It holds a good amount of water and does not leak. The truck runs on 3 AA 1.5V batteries. The compartment can be located at the bottom of the truck.
