First off, the truck is huge! They loved its massive size and ability to carry just about anything on it. The truck also has lights and sounds, which is a nice addition. But the star of this set is the excavator / bulldozer that comes with it. It has lights, sounds, moving parts, and it can also move forward. My kids were obsessed and wanted to play with it in the sandbox right away. I noticed it won&rsquo;t actually move forward on the sand / uneven terrain, but it works great to load / unload sand. Bonus points for the toy coming ready to play right out of the box - they come with batteries and ready to go. This would make a great gift for kids, and I love how it prompted them to go play outside. I like that both my six year old and twelve year old enjoyed playing with it (not gonna lie, my fianc&eacute; was even on the floor enjoying it). Seems durable enough for my older two kids to enjoy for a while. It hasn&rsquo;t stopped him from playing for hours with this story inside. The only other thing that could be better is the truck front that connect to the trailer comes apart really easily. The carrier truck is sturdy and easily movable with a loading ramp for the digger to roll up and down. The lights and sounds feature is absolutely adorable. My six year old daughter spends hours playing with it. She has this machine moving Barbie, Bluey, Mini Brands, legos, and so much more! I love that it came with batteries included and was easy to unbox and the controls are easy to use. It rolls easily on hardwood and tile floors but does understandably move slower on carpet.
