Before I get to that I will say, the mechanism itself is sturdy and shoots pretty far. Now for the down sides. It is quite hard to push the black barrel back to load the dart for firing. The darts have nifty holders, but they cause indentations in the darts which then causes the darts to get stuck in the barrel and/or they don't fire properly. Yes you could buy more darts, but then they'd just get bent up again once put in the dart clips. Great idea but the execution just wasn't there. They fought over who could play with it first. The only draw back was the trigger to shoot the dart is hard for the little ones finger to push. It takes a great bit of strength. It does however shoot amazingly far and is a really fun toy to keep their attention. The only improvement I would suggest would be a third keeper so no one loses the other dart. The two on the side keep them from going missing but the third has to just set inside the barrel and hope it&rsquo;s not lost. As you can see, he loves Spiderman, so this was perfect. It states it is for ages five plus, but my son is 3.5 yo, and does perfectly fine with this. It stays on his arm without any issue, but he does need a bit of help getting it on. The darts are easy to secure and load, and my little guy is able to blast away. It's design is sturdy and fun. It's so convenient and easy to put on I wish it could be made a bit smaller my son is really thin and it tends to go down a bit.
