We had the best time making potions, magical spells and finding the 3 little accessories appear inside the bottles. This was such fun and a great task to do, for the little Mixie character.
I was worried my little ones wouldn't play with this afterwards, however that is absolutely not the case.
We've been creating our own magic and potions with this so much, everything fits nicely inside the vehicle too for packaging away.
Love that we can add another character inside too!
This has been great for water and role play fun with our kids.
10/10 and I'd happily buy again, or for gifts for someone.</span>

<span itemprop="description">[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were not sure what to expect when this arrived in the post, but we were pleasantly surprised with the vehicle. It's beautifully built with some lovely (but sturdy) detailing. The little character that came with it was a big hit here, we loved her hidden feature (I won't spoil it) and playing with her with water (that's the clue). The vehicle itself is adorable and we loved the way it opened up to give access to the back. It was easy for both of my kids to do and play with.
We weren't so keen on the accessories, they were so fiddly and hard to get out of the potion bottles in the first place and it was tricky getting them to stay on the creature. We'd have loved some place to store them on the truck, maybe a little suitcase or hidey hole. As they are small, they will be easy to lose.
The potions were great, but parents be prepared with extras as they are one go each. We absolutely loved doing them but immediately wanted to do more. We did thoroughly enjoy playing with this toy though as it has several different play aspects that appealed to us in different ways. While the potions were short-lived the imagination play was ongoing and now the Magic Mixies truck and driver have an ongoing job delivering potions to all our other small world toys.</span>

The truck and all the accessories are great quality just like all the magic mixies toys. The 3 included potions were good fun to make and once they were finished the accessories all fitted neatly into the truck ready for more fun next time. My only criticism is that I can’t see any refill kits to buy yet, but the playset is proving to be very popular in our house anyway.</span>

The only thing that let it down was the accessories for the little Mixling character were a bit fiddly and easy to lose. But it didn’t detract from playing with the Truck or the Character.</span>

<span itemprop="description">[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My little one just LOVED it. We invited her cousin around to play and they both took it in turns to make the magic potions. I think it's safe to say that they both loved the magical element to this product.
They added 'magic' powder to each pot and shook it for 30 seconds to reveal special gifts for their Mixling. The Mixling itself is magical and had a tail that is heat sensitive and changes colour!
These are a great gift idea. Even after all the magic potions have been made you can still use the potions shop to create small world set ups.
I think more of the Magic Mixies will feature on her Christmas list this year.</span>

At first glance this toy looks very appealing however the potion side was far more messy than expected. There are 3 potion bottles, a cauldron and several sachets. A measures amount of water plus sachet is mixed together in the cauldron and using the mixer/pipette- added to potion bottle.
All instructions followed but all bottles leaked and made a mess everywhere. In each bottle, there was a small accessory to put onto the little character. One did not come out all and had to be cut out. This all said, my daughter has really enjoyed playing with the main vehicle and now empty potion bottles. So whilst the initial use was messy, she is really making good use of the toy- what more could parent ask for?!</span>

My two little one have throughly enjoyed playing with the magic mixies potion truck, especially my 2.5 year old daughter. She was able to follow simple instructions and mix all the potions on her own to reveal the cute little accessories. I loved how it all stores away nicely in the truck and that you can play beyond mixing potions. My only complaint is the seal could be better on the potions as they do leak when shaking and that it was a little difficult to remove the accessories. But other than that it’s a fantastic toy and have already recommended it to family who love the magic mixies brand.</span>

First impressions were wow, about the amount of detail gone into the Truck and with the potion mixing and the Truck opening up into the Potion shop , I could see how much more fun you could get out of it. As this is aimed at 5-12 year olds I'd like my girl age 6 to be able to easily follow instructions for the potion making under supervision, so that's what we did. love the look of it and the amount of play to be had. Seeing that it opened up my daught was so happy and when she started making the potions there were lots of wows and she was filled with delight as the potions fizzed and changed colours , revealing the new Mixlings accessories inside the potion bottles. From my perspective I did think that the potion sachets were a little fiddly for small hands and as they were as big as the opening on the potions bottles , my daughter could not help but make a mess. Perhaps something could be done in regards to the potion sachets to make them fit the opening of the bottles better? This being as that's the main point of the toy for me and if I was to do this part of the Magic, it would take away some of the fun and Magic for my daughter.
Also while the reveal of the accessories is cute, i do feel that they just add to plastic waste as they done stay on the mixling and 2 of the 3 accessories have aince been lost.
My daughter loved every element of this toy , from the mixing of potions to setting up the shop and was delighted when she realised the tail changed colour. with so much fun and magic packed into one little toy, my girl is even more obsessed with the Magic Mixies
now.
This really is a magical little toy and well worth the money, but I do feel it needs a few little tweaks to make it perfect.</span>
