They are big fans of magic and all Halloween things so this was right up their alley. The toy itself is a good size, well made and comes in fun colors. It also comes with many accessories (The cauldron, wand, the spells, potions, and your magic mixie). I highly recommend reading the instructions fully as there is a lot of parts/instructions to making your magic pet! There are 2 settings, Mist or no mist. The mist mode is our favorite, after adding the fun potions and tapping your cauldron about 7 times, your mixie appears through the mist! The magical pet is adorable, he reacts to your wand and/or touch and makes so many different sounds! If you choose no mist the mixie won't appear and you just get the sounds. The charge has lasted us a few days worth of play and we are still getting mist each time. We do need a refill pack but it's still so much fun to play (using our imaginations!). We have been really enjoying this toy and would highly recommend it!</span>

You need to follow a ritual of pouring water from a small container, adding your magical feather and other bits that come with the magical mixie, write the name that your child chooses down on the piece of paper, add it to the couldran, say the magic spell whilst moving your magic wand around. And the mist starts… it is magical. There is loads of mist, and my daughters eyes were like saucers! Then the magic mixie toy suddenly appears! It is a gorgeous, well made toy, very similar to a furby. The more you interact with it the more it can do. You can recreate the magical reveal over and over again, with the option of having mist or not. You can also purchase more magical ingredients for the mist, which we have done as my daughter wants to bring this in for show and tell in her classroom. She loves it. I can see it being the mist have for Christmas.</span>

A l'aide de la baguette magique, il fallait ajouter les ingrédients au fur et à mesure de la confection de la potion.
Dès que tous les ingrédients sont ajoutés, de la fumée sort de la potion jusqu'à l'apparition d'une petite peluche toute mignonne comme tout.
Et voilà ma fille a crée un animal magique ! Et elle a clairement adoré et moi aussi :)

Il y a des effets lumineux et une petite musique se fait entendre tout au long de la préparation. On commence par ajouter de l'eau. Ensuite on ajoute les ingrédients les uns après les autres. Puis la fumée arrive et émerveille les enfants. Ma fille et moi-même avons adorés. Et soudain la révélation, la peluche apparait. Elle est très douce et a un diamant lumineux sur le front. En tapotant avec la baguette magique, elle réagit par des sons.
On peut jouer avec le chaudron à l'infini car une clé fourni permet de retourner la cuve afin de recommencer le sort. Il y a une fonction qui permet de jouer avec ou sans fumée. Il faut mettre de l'eau pour que le chaudron fonctionne.
Le bas du chaudron se démonté pour remettre la peluche en place. On peut aussi la remplacer par le coffret qui se fixe sur le chaudron et y mettre une surprise qui sera dévoilé à la fin du sort.
Il y a une petite fiole qui contient du produit pour recharger le compartiment à fumée. Il faut être vigilant lors du rechargement, pensez bien en retirant le flacon de tenir le bec verseur pour que celui-ci ne se sépare pas du flacon.
La peluche se recharge sur le chaudron avec le câble fourni.</span>

La notice est simple et claire. Il faut commencer par mettre à charger le chaudron ,pour commencer la potion magique.
Tout est bien conçu : le chaudron, les ingrédients, les accessoires, la baguette... Nous avons vécu un vrai moment de magie.
Pendant le mélange, il y a musique, lumière et brume parfumée...
Au bout de quelques minutes ,le plateau intérieur bascule et laisse apparaître la jolie peluche interactive.
L' expérience est assez rapide ( 10 minutes environ) et non salissante.
Le chaudron peut être réinitialisé, et la magie peut à nouveau opérer !
Le peluche est articulée, interactive et très mignonne.
Nous somme conquis! C' est un cadeau qui fera assurément plaisir.</span>

Just a heads up, you do want to charge it for a little while before using it so if you have super excited kids just be prepared to have to wait a little before beginning!
Once we got to the spell portion of it my daughter was having a BLAST! They really put a lot of thought into making it feel “real” including the misting effect.
She loves the little plush that she got and the fact that she can do spells with it.
We’re loving the toy and I won’t be shocked if she asks for another!</span>

<span itemprop="description">[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter brought this to our campsite to enjoy with her friends, and they all had a blast creating this potion. I let the cauldron charge for about 45 minutes, like it suggested in the instructions, and everything went smoothly. I made sure to read the instructions fully ahead of time, that way nobody got frustrated or messed anything up when we finally got to play. Each child took a turn adding an ingredient and tapping the wand. The light turning green was a really good idea, and there was no questioning when we needed to tap again. The fog was everybody’s favorite part. As soon as the cauldron started to fog, I held it up high and all of the kids were mesmerized. They were so amazed at what they created once the fog disappeared. They spent the rest of the night playing with their new pet, Crystal. This is such a great toy, and both of my kids already have it on their Christmas list for Santa to bring again!</span>

My daughters loved helping me and they were fascinated with the sounds it made as it "cooked". I liked that it was interactive and allowed us to follow along with it as it mixed everything together.
