This purchase replaced my original Moby wrap purchased 12 years ago. I purchased it for my ds and many rave recommendations from baby-wearing friends. It was a black wrap with a black and white floral print panel in front. The silk panel seam ripped. After two children and about three years of use through both, I was surprised by the longevity of the Moby. When I went to use it with my dd, who was just a week old, it ripped. I told my husband that I'd be buying a new one. We had the conversation about the fact that there are faux Moby wraps and we wanted to be sure it was a genuine Moby due to quality and longevity of the previous wrap. The Moby wrap allows me to keep him close and he goes straight to sleep in it!
