My son spent a good 30-40 minutes building the toy, which is always a bonus! It is rugged and my son loves the pull back feature that allows the car to zoom into its tricks. The Child would then have to reconstruct that particular section of the car to resume play. Facilitating following directions and also adapting instructions when they aren't able to do it in order. He was able to build quickly and able to understand the directions by him self. He liked the tires on the truck and figure that came with it. It was a solid toy that keep his interest. It has just enough parts to make it challenging. He thought the crashing was really cool. His main feedback is that the truck doesn&rsquo;t ride up the ramp very easily. The only reason I gave it a 4 star is because I think the age might be more like 6+. My 5 year old was a little frustrated putting it together and remaking it when he plays hard with it. There are two pieces that go under the ramp to keep it from sliding on the floor that do not stay in and that was a little annoying. That aside the truck is very neat and the little guy that comes with it is super fun. The directions were easy to understand. The truck is very cool that you can pull it back and let it go and it goes pretty fast. If you hit the ramp just right it will flip and pieces fly off. My 7 year old loves this. All three of my boys have been playing with this nonstop since we opened it. It is definitely entertaining and will keep the kids busy for a while. Once together, it functions quite well with the ramp and pull-back feature. The Mega construction instructions are step-by-step and easy for kids to follow to build the vehicle and ramp. The only negative is the Mega pieces don't snap together as easily as LEGO, requiring our child to ask for help a couple times. Beyond that, the vehicle stays together while using it, although a couple pieces might come off if it's dropped on a hard floor. It has some replay ability with being able to disassemble and reassemble the vehicle. The colors are very bright and my son was instantly so excited to open this up and build it with his 15 yr old sister to play with it. Unfortunately my 15 yr old had a really hard time getting the pieces to click together and she got really frustrated building it. By the time she had it mostly completed my 5yr old completely lost interest in it and didn&rsquo;t care to play with it anymore. My 15yr olds hands were sore from trying to get the pieces to snap in place.
