Very good buy.</span> <span itemprop="description">[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After getting the figures set up and equipped with each of their individual weapons and armor, I was pleased with the amount of detail that was given to each of the 6 figures. All 4 Halo figures each have their own weapon, and some have additional items as well, such as backpacks and secondary weapons. They are also equipped with stand that make it easy to keep them vertical. The two Covenant figures are also very detailed and each has its own weapon. The only downside in my opinion is that the covenant figures will not stand up without the bases provided, which limits their playability. The figurines are a bit smaller than expected but won't dock any stars because they are very detailed and colorful. It contains around 140 pieces to build and share your Halo creations with weapon accessories as well. The packaging states to give to kids aged 8+ but my 5-year-old toddler plays with them well enough. I think there is enough variety to allow kids to play imaginatively in the Halo universe. One thing that the manufacturer could improve upon is to make the figurines a tad bit larger, even if details need to be sacrificed. The MEGA Halo ODST Hive Exterminators Halo Universe Construction Set was well above what I was expecting. Not only did my daughter's love the fully posable mini figures, but their 3 cousins came by and they had a blast playing with them as well. They move at all of their joints, even the wings. The set also came with quite a few weapons/tools for the mini figures. What we didn&rsquo;t like- The red laser piece that is supposed to fit into the battle riffle does not stay in place and falls out easily. Many kids were frustrated that it kept falling out. If you are a fan of halo, this is a great diorama type toy to display in a variety of different ways and is fun enough to change around frequently to make new combinations. Packaging: This toy comes in a fun package that is easy to take apart and access all pieces. If you&rsquo;re like me, you hate those packages where you need scissors, knives, etc to open and become more frustrating than anything. This is not the case. However, for those of you that are concerned about potentially losing pieces (since some parts are small), fear not. I shook this thing around before opening and I can safely say not one piece moved or fell out of any part of the package. Playability: This toy is fun if you want to actually play with the figures as well as set up as a diorama. The figures are fully movable including joints in the elbows, knees, wrists and head. This means you can move the figures around as you please and put them in a variety of fun poses or simulate battle scenes. The toy also comes with a variety of weapons iconic to the halo universe. There are actually almost as many accessories as there are hands for figures so you can be sure there are a lot of different combinations to play with. When you&rsquo;re done playing, a battle flag and stands for the figures are provided so you can set up the figures in a multitude of ways to look like mock battles. This is where the toy really shines. If you&rsquo;re creative you can use all the pieces and set them up throughout your play or entertainment area and get some fun photos! Dislikes: The only thing I would say that I do not like about this product is that because the figures are bendable and moveable it can sometimes be challenging to find different poses on the stands. You need to play with the balance of the figures to make sure they do not fall down. Rest assured, this is mainly when you are doing extreme movements where you might simulate figures falling or being downed in battle. It took some adjustments but there are still a lot of ways to have fun moving them around. Bottom line: If you&rsquo;re a fan of halo then buy this toy!! It&rsquo;s just small enough to be a cool accessory for a desk, entertainment area or even take on the go! The models themselves are well built as evidenced by my youngest pulling off body parts and snapping the models back together without a hitch. The models have articulation at every joint, which is pretty cool and unexpected for such a small action figure. The matching tiny accessories are really fun and bring the playability of the toys up significantly.
