<span itemprop="description">This is not the same quality as I always known Little Tikes products to be. Assembly is tricky because the snaps just don't work. Even if you can get them to snap they come apart. The base and the lid are 2 different shades of green. So... it just looks cheap. But It is holding together enough that it will hold some sand. My Grandboys will love it. We'll see if it holds up.</span>

<span itemprop="description">I was the owner of the previous little tikes turtle sandbox that was two solid pieces, a lid and a bottom piece, it was water proof, and the sand did not leak out everywhere. I am very disappointed with the new style of sandbox and believe that anyone that likes this sandbox just doesn't know any better. I was so excited to get a new one for my younger children, but they are not getting the same experience. Would love for Little Tikes to have a change of heart and make the old model again.</span>

<span itemprop="description">We went to our local store after the older version of this product as it was featured in the flyer on sale. Upon arriving to the store, they said they only carry this 2.0 version that is $30 more. This "improved" version isn't a solid piece like the original and required a lot of time to put together. The bottom pieces do not "snap" together per the instructions booklet and the plastic is already showing some signs of stress. We are quite disappointed in Toys R Us for advertising a product that no longer exists and disappointed in Little Tikes for downgrading a popular item and making it significantly more expensive.</span>

It might be better if you can keep yours in the same spot, but we moved it to mow the lawn, and with the sand inside, it was a mess.</span>

<span itemprop="description">The printed instructions and the video showed how easily the sandbox goes together. In reality, it was difficult. The base kept pulling apart with each addition. It also had 4 less screws than the lid which fell into place nicely with 8 screws. The snap-in components do not stay snapped on the base. I liked that it is smaller than the original and the overall design is cute. The engineering of the base to be more study needs to be done.</span>

It is not a solid base but rather, 4 identical pieces that fit together well. The lid also came in 4 sections and the head attaches to the base. It came in a smaller box which is great for shipping and I’m sure it makes warehouse storage and store shelving easier too. Putting it together was fairly easy, if not a little tricky to get right the first time. But I easily got it put together in about 20-25 minutes. We bought two bags of sand and some sand toys for my 3 year old and he played all day in it!</span>

<span itemprop="description">[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's super cute, but the directions make it seem so easy to assembly. It was not. The base wouldn't stay together at all. Once I got it together, the bottom kept coming apart. Hopefully, with it being full of sand, it will be more stable.</span>

<span itemprop="description">[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The weather is just now starting to warm up and spring feels like it’s here to stay. This little tikes sandbox arrived at the perfect time so that we can enjoy outdoor play. The sandbox took maybe 10-15 minutes tops to put it together. The paper directions were very clear but the QR code for the YouTube video was also very helpful for me since I’m a visual learner. I need to buy the sand to fill it now but so far my toddler is very excited about the “turtle”! I can’t wait for all the fun we’ll have using it this summer.</span>
