<span itemprop="description">My sons received this as a Christmas gift. My oldest is four and my youngest is one. The youngest loves it while my oldest prefers his tonie. The ability to watch a book being read out loud is cute, however, the display is not always clear. I will get it focused then the page will change only for it to be unfocused again, there’s no stand or pegs to help change the height of the machine to project at different heights so that can be an issue depending on where we are. Another problem I have is the delay between pages, it’s a bit annoying with how inconsistent it can be, some of the stories have a short page turn while others seem to take a longer time. The audio is great, but the music while loading the machine started off cute but now it’s starting to get annoying. Another problem is battery. The tonie comes with a charger whereas this needs batteries. It isn’t a huge issue but it’s inconvenient. And lastly when the kids have this on prior to bed time the lag between taking a story out and putting another in is a bit too long. Again I’m comparing this to my eldest son’s tonie so we are used to a quick start. With all of that being said I would say this is great for kids maybe 1-3, you certainly need to help insert the book and press play but it seems to be enjoyable and not to long for the younger ones attention span.</span>

<span itemprop="description">1 year after I got this for Christmas 2023 and my autistic child absolutely love this toy. She is obsessed for Sesame Street and we got every one of the books that came out. When all fails and she is upset I get the dream machine out and she usually calms down immediately. I absolutely love this! I am grateful for this toy, truly am. We had a dinner party at my house last night and she was so unhappy and anxious but I got the machine out and within minutes she was calm 🙏🏻 and reset.
PROS:
- I love that the books are inexpensive.
- The whole thing is super durable.
- Is a impressive little machine that seem magical for kids.
- There is a nostalgic feeling to it.
- The fact that a kid can operate it themselves is super cool.
- I love that doesn’t have freaking CORDS!!! Batteries are easier to deal with and the last FOREVER!!!
- The price is super super good for the value and I would definitely buy it again, maybe even buy a second one just to make sure my kid will have a spare one just in case.
CONS: (more like a wish list) :)
- PLEASE release more Sesame Street books.
- Please release the special edition again.
- A tripod accessory would be amazing.
- Need a book holder for very large collections.</span>

She is all over the bed in and out of her room for at least an hour before she sleeps but since she decided this was hers she is so excited to take it to her bed and listen to stories in her own little world. The music and light feature are amazing for her she loves that she can use it herself. It has been amazing at getting her calm. We need to get more stories.</span>

<span itemprop="description">We were gifted this for my son's birthday (No I do not have a receipt), he loves it! However, most of the time the slides do not advance. The audio portion continues with the story, my son is too young to realize it does not match the slide, so he still enjoys it. Unfortunately, this is not how the product is supposed to work. We have a handful of different stories and it does the same with 90% of them. I think there is one story that still work appropriately. It also takes a very long time to load the story once placed in the play and does not start on the correct slide once it is "loaded." We have changed the batteries to energizer batteries. This product also goes through batteries very quickly. Usually have to replace them every other week. My son still sits to listen to it, but I'm very disappointed with quality.</span>

He is in love with them and it helps to wind down in lowlight just before bedtime. Highly suggested. Our baby has some audio sensatory issues and this toy is calming and soothing. Im sure it adds to his nice dreams!</span>

<span itemprop="description">I wish this product was more durable. My toddler had dropped it once and now it doesn't work properly. A few of the little books only work for a little while and then the light turns red and the story turns off half way through.</span>

<span itemprop="description">I bought my son this toy and he loves it. It is super easy to use and great pictures! The only down side is some of the books are abridged versions and NOT the full book which was a huge let down. Other wise a very good toy.</span>

<span itemprop="description">The slides are rarely correct. It will take 1-2 minutes when first starting then the story usually starts 3-4 slides ahead of the narrator and stays on that slide the whole story. Doesn’t matter the cartridge. Do not waste your money.</span>

Easy enough for him to know how to turn it on and watch it in his little tent in his room. Highly recommend for toddlers or kids of any age. Easy to use. Even plays calming sounds when there is no book which my son also enjoys. Worth every penny.</span>
