I just put it together and the handles won&rsquo;t even stay in place long enough for my son to try it. I &ldquo;snap&rdquo; them into place and the part of the handles closer to the steps just pops right up. I can&rsquo;t even get them to stay in for longer than 4-5 seconds. Tried everything we could and every time we thought we had them snapped down he'd climb up and they would pop out. He attempted to slide down it one afternoon and when he reached the top the handle popped out and he fell. He broke his tibia and ended up in a cast for 2 months. He was 18 mths old! I never read the reviews before purchase, but I know kids toys don't last in the marketplace if they're dangerous. I also failed to read directions because assembly was painfully obvious. I knew nothing of others complaints and bad ratings because of issues with the handles and weight. When I put the pieces together, I noticed the handles were a tight fit, which is a good thing. They cannot be casually set up there and be expected to function. A person need to be slightly smarter than the tools they work with. it was obvious the hook goes to the front and needed to go in first, then the back lined up and pushed in, then a sharp smack with the hand to seat it. I appreciated the difficulty assembling the handles because I know they're in to stay. As far as the wobbliness, it's an inexpensive lightweight toy for little ones that's easy to move &amp; store, and a child should always be supervised until old enough to comprehend physics (and accept consequences). They design and materials are all I would expect of it and it fits it's purpose perfectly.
