She needed time to get used to being on a slide and had to learn how to climb up the stairs. After about a month and a half of learning how to play on it on her own, she has mastered climbing the stairs and sliding down on the slide effortlessly. Now, she will go up and down at least a few times a day and she also enjoys playing peek-a-boo and crawling under the slide. This is probably the one toy she never gets tired of and I'm grateful. It was easy to assemble (though I had to ask someone stronger than me to lock the snaps in), the handles fit no problem, and my son has been sliding down it (and now walking up it) for 2 weeks. My 5 year old niece also played on it, though she is a bit too tall for it. But kids have fun anyway, they don't care about size. The steps and handles are quite sturdy. They only got to play on it for 15-20 minutes before I made the decision to return it. He has struggled to get his legs arranged at the top due to the handles being so flush with the slide. Resulting in him falling backwards down the side steps, while trying to bring his legs forward. It's a learning curve perhaps. You can't fold it down, i assumed you could. But that being said, it's a slide, it's used for its purpose and my kid is already bored of it in quarantine.
