Our original CC was purchased in 1989. It was in constant use by our children and their friends and twelve stair-stepped cousins... the youngest still playing with it at his house. That's why it was an easy decision to purchase a sturdy, classic toy that will give years of joy to multiple children. Several improvements have been made to the CC since our first purchase, including a door that latches, a handle for the parent to hold while strolling the CC, the storage area behind the driver's head will now hold a drink, and the very best improvement is the removable floorboard for young riders so their feet won't hit the ground. We gave our granddaughter her new Cozy Coupe last week. She loves riding in it! Assembly took over 90 min. I really like that it is sturdy, weather resistant, and fun to play with. This model also has a handle for parents to push when the foot board is in place. The foot board is a really nice thing because my son doesn't know how to self-propel yet, but can still have fun! The only down side is that it is a little tough to put together, not hard, just a little tough.
