We also have a younger child which will be perfect for him as well. So overall we are pleased with the product. Realize you are putting together a trampoline, so it takes some time. Took us approximately 2 hrs. The reason we are giving 4 stars is because the zipper on the netting is extremely difficult to zip close because the netting is so tight that it pulls at the edges of the zipper and almost takes 2 adults to zip it. I tried zipping it close myself, and by the time I finally got it shut, my kid jumped a total of 5 minutes (he also jumped while I was trying to shut it). Would I recommend this to a friend with a child our age?
