She opens the oven, puts the veggies in a pot covers it and puts it in the oven. The only thing we aren't letting her use is the pizza pieces, she still puts things in her mouth. We also have not used the pannini maker but in time will.it takes batteries and with some water makes steam. She will enjoy this a little later on. I LOVE the little seat and eating area. This is a very cute kitche that she will enjoy more and more as time goes by. Everyday she uses something else, the kitchen has turning handles she has discovered. This product is made of flimsy plastic, it did not fit together well, you can't line the oven door up so it opens easily. In the past these toys lasted forever, I doubt this will make it thru a year.
