It was so quick and easy to set up and take down. It took minutes to set up and my son had it folded and in the carry bag in less than 5 minutes. I am very pleased--I wish I would have gotten this sooner. I feel that it is just poorly constructed and has a cheaply made motor. We set up the unit in the living room for her almost daily. As far as set-up, it is super easy- roll it out, hook it up to the blower and turn it on. It takes about a minute to set-up and less than a minute to inflate. It deflates in about the same time. The blower sounds similar to a hair dryer (just not as high pitched); it just becomes background noise when we have it inflated. The only issue with the unit is that it does not fold back up well. It is easy to fold, but not so easy to get back to the original size. Was debating whether to get this or a model that was &quot;covered&quot;. Also debated on whether to get a &quot;water&quot; slide type inflatable due to the &quot;Texas&quot; heat in the summer time making it difficult to play hard outside for very long and to keep from getting the play surface too hot in sun. Eventually decided that we had one room where we would be able to move some furniture and use inside. A month later, My wife loves it as much as kids, and the two kids play together in it several times a day. It is very noisy to use inside, sort of like having a vacuum cleaner running all the time, but it allows my wife to get things done in other parts of the house. It also allows my kids to get needed energy burnoff inside during days where it is 100 degree outside. Can easily disconnect blower, fold up and move under pool table to resume some sense of normalcy, but beware, you may have to learn to live with slightly rearrange furniture if you try to follow this path. It requires a fairly large room, and we were fortunate that we could orient the blower and the two openings (Slide and arch) so that the kids could play safely. Also the room benefits from fairly high (I'd guess 9 ft) ceilings that are common in newer (post 80's) homes in Texas, but was not the norm in the house I grew up in. I would suspect most people are not going to be as lucky with their floorplan to be able to use inside. Using inside it has stayed clean and showed no sign of wear. I did buy a tarp for outside, but have not had opportunity to use it. I actually prefer that this has an &quot;open&quot; top; I have found the closed top ones retain more heat, moisture, and smell. I was even able to get in and have a good time with my son! The fan is a little loud, but it does it's job by keeping the bouncer inflated. As someone mentioned before you do need some clearance to make sure it inflates properly. Also, it didn't fold away as quickly as they make it sound, although I suppose with practice we will make it perfect. The bouncer itself is quite durable and tough--moreso than what I expected. Note that this bouncer with the fan in the box is a little heavy. The material seems a lot sturdier than it looked in the picture. We have been setting it up in the living room, but I had to move the couch, so it won't be able to stay there. However, it does fit, and it will work great outside too. We have had it for a little over a week, and my kids have been in it for 1-2 hours every day since we got it. It can support up to 250 lbs, so I have gotten in there with the kids. I normally don't stand up and jump, but I can bounce with them still. I was a little hesitant to spend this much money, but now that I have it; I feel it was well worth the price. The blower is a little noisy since we are using it inside, and you have to keep the blower running the whole time.
