This is not the solid plastic used on previous products. This is a flimsy product that does not give ample support to the child. The design is flawed. If you have the mailbox door open you can&rsquo;t open the front door properly. The mailbox also can be pulled right off by a small infant. We had a little tikes garden years ago and it was solid and well made. The only issue I have are the is the purple part where the balls can go through. My grandson can stand and walk holding on to thing. He put his arm in the hole and fell and started to scream It was a lucky thing he did not break his arm. He continues to put his arm in it so we placed tennis balls in the holes to prevent him from putting his hand/arm in it again ti he is steady on his feet. The item I chose was not available until after his visit, disappointed I purchased this one instead and I am so glad I did. He loved, loved, loved it. He was entertained for hours climbing in and out, (we set it up to be enclose) playing with the mailbox putting things in and out, opening and closing the doors and shutters, letting the balls drop into the hole and roll through. Two weeks later we took it to his house for a weekend and again he played with it for hours. It was easy to assemble, easy to lock together and unlock for storage and travel. At this age now for him it may be but when he grows and learns to grab and want to put everything in his mouth I worry.... good quality but that was the only concern. Assembly is also semi hard NEED at least 2 people and plan to spend 30m-1hr doing this. The toy may have been a little bit sturdier with it in the closed position but it was so small she wouldn't have for inside .. No cons really... except that the &quot;tunnel&quot; (slide) is too small and is never used. I wish the mailbox came with mail instead of blocks. My 4 year old daughter used to play with the old garden center from little tikes at play group, and her favorite thing about it was pretending to be the mailman. Overall, wonderful purchase. Wish I had had it for my first to grow up with! There is so much to do from the shape sorter to the slide. The only problem I find with the product is the height it wasn't as tall as I thought it was going to be. She has a blast climbing all over it and using all the different toys.
