The pictures were helpful and the tool included for assembly was appreciated. It took me a couple minutes to figure out how the side panels fit together, but once that was done the rest was easy. The only con I have for this product is that it is flimsy. I would like to see thicker plastic, especially for the doors. However, my students absolutely love playing in it.</span>

<span itemprop="description">When this showed up on my doorstep I was shocked to see how compact the package was. However, they say good things come in small packages and this is no exception. Right out of the box, the assembly was so easy that my 6 year old daughter was able to do a lot of it herself with no help other than some direction of where to put some parts. We worked together for close to an hour to get it all done and we took our time since it was so easy. We assembled as much as we could inside with smaller parts and took it outside to complete assembly to make it into a house.
I found the materials to be sturdy enough for play outside during good weather, but we've had to bring it in for rain and wind because I worry that it won't hold up. It just doesn't seem like it's made for holding together in that type of weather.
The colors are tan and red, which is a good gender neutral color and is made of a material that stickers adhere to easily so it can easily be painted or jazzed up with stickers if you're not fond of the color (I'm not keen, but my daughter is happy with it and that's what matters).
This unit has provided hours upon hours of fun for her. She's an only child and when her friends are busy, she sometimes has to rely on her imagination to play and this provides a great opportunity for that. She wasted no time asking us to write her letters at her new address of "7425 Backyard" and put her stuffed animals in the house and wrote letters to them and then shoved them in the mail slot. The house is a good size for her and 1 other friend to play together, but if she were smaller, it would be appropriate size for up to 3 children. She is very tall at 47 inches and has difficulty standing completely upright in it, but it doesn't seem to bother her. She has special needs and this is a wonderful toy to help with those needs.
The house is very lightweight, so we have no problem moving it from outside to inside when inclement weather strikes.</span>

Initially, I thought it was a little small (I was hoping to be able to put a plastic table and chairs inside for them, but 2 chairs is about its limit. That said, my 6 year old can comfortably stand up in it, and is quite happy with 2 chairs in it. It disnt come with flags as illustrated, but this gives you the option to add your own. I guess the most important point to make is - Did my children like it? Absolutely, without question - YES, they were thrilled!!</span>

<span itemprop="description">The Little Tikes Cape Cottage Playhouse is the perfect cottage for either a boy or girl. The colors are inviting and compliment any outdoor playing area. Unlike similar products it was not difficult or time consuming to assemble. The playhouse material is sturdy and safely constructed. I was pleasantly surprised at how each detail of the cottage was carefully thought out. From the street number decals and flag holder all the way to the mail slot. The cottage is large enough for 2 to 3 children to play in. My son loves it. He spends hours in it and thinks of it as his own little personal space. He even puts our German Shorthaired Pointer in it along with him. I am very happy with this cottage.</span>

<span itemprop="description">This Cape Cottage Playhouse is so cute. When I received it I thought that it would be hard to put together, but I literally was able to assemble it in about 20 minutes. The design is attractive and is just the right size for children under 5. I gave this item to my 3-year-old and she had hours of fun playing with it. The only thing I did not like about it was that it was a little flimsy. The doors and windows just do not stay shut which can be a little frustrating for a small child. Other than that this is an amazing item!</span>
