I saw this &quot;live&quot; pet fish and I knew my son would love it. Boy was I right. He is OBSESSED. The day he got it he wouldn't stop talking about how excited he was to set up the tank and put the fish in. He even let me put the water in the tank. So generous. It is really messy with the water, and the fish has a hard time getting around the seaweed that came with it. The moment she received this she wanted to head straight for the tub to play. It comes in this hard plastic, &ldquo;plastic bag&rdquo; like how you would get a fish at the fair. You hold the top of the bag and insert it into a body of water in which the bag will open up from the bottom and release the fish. The fish then starts to swim on its on when I&rsquo;m water. There&rsquo;s also a plastic toy feeder that has a magnet in it to get the fish to follow and feed. So I was happy to find this one. Make sure to follow the instructions on the outer sleeve so that the fish can swim out of the bag on its own. It took a minute or two but my daughter loved this part of it. It activates when it hits the water and starts flapping it&rsquo;s tail fin to swim around the bath. It comes with a little feeder that looks like a lipstick which the fish is attracted to (by a magnet) which gives an extra play element. Swimming and Moving are pretty incredible. It captured my attention with my giggles and laughter along with my Little Ones! Oh, and the Fish came with a bottle of fish food. I didn&rsquo;t realize something like this could keep a 6-year-old&rsquo;s attention, but it did. It kept mine too! Once you take the cardboard off, you hold the plastic container in a large bowl of water (or a bath) and the tape keeping it together dissolves so the fish swims out. And it swims around and around. It&rsquo;s really cool. There&rsquo;s a battery &ldquo;food&rdquo; thing that you feed it. Me and my daughter were both really impressed. She swims all over her tank and even across the entire bathtub--and she's quick! My kids love these fish and the batteries are easy to replace when they die. Our only complaint is with the design--they tend to lay and get stuck on their sides and need help getting upright to keep swimming. Seems like the weight or fins aren't evenly distributed or designed wonky. Other than that, these are great little fish! NOTE: as per the instructions, these fish are not intended to live in the water 24/7. We didn't realize that with the first fish we had, and the batteries died quickly.
