We get it out of the little box by putting it in the water and fish swims out of it. An instant smile I see in my kids face makes it worth it. But it did and im sure it would have been a whole lot easier if I would have seen and read the instructions before opening it. And probably would have been cool to see. Basically said put it in watee and the bag the fishy is in should open on its own or dissolve I believe. Either or it would have been nice. The little fish has nice vibrant colors. It feels rubbery but not how ypu would think and not hard but not squishy either firm yes. And it is so cool watching it swim in the tub and honestly it scared me because i mean fish normally don't make noise i know its a toy and yet I didn't think it was going to make a noise so when my child moved it a certain way I freaked out haha but it was interesting my child loves to bath it and pretend she is a deep see diver. She was able to set up the tank with the plants and release her fish all on her own. the fish is a brightly colored unicorn fish...she also is a big unicorn fan! The fish actually swims in the tank just like a real fish. It s also has a little feeder that she can use to attract the fish to the side or top of the tank so theres lots of interaction. I like toys that get attention away from her ipad or tv screen! With its bright colors it looks really pretty on a shelf in her bedroom just waiting for her to play with it whenever she wants. This fish is adorable. My kids really enjoy watching and interacting with this toy fish. I really liked the experience of putting the seaweed in, filling the tank up with water, and putting the clam in the water as the fish is wiggling and swims as it&rsquo;s set free from the clam. That was cool. The magnetic feeder was fun for the kids; they liked that the fish followed it around the tank. My experience with this product was that the taken could be a little bigger as the fish got stuck occasionally on the plastic seaweed. I would prefer if the tank came with a lid to latch it close. I would also prefer if the fish had and on/off button/sensor to save battery. My seven year old daughter got one today and as we unpacked it the fun began. She loved setting up the aquarium for her little guy to swim in and the release process was very similar to what we did when introducing new fish to a real aquarium. It comes with a feeder, two plants and a tank. It would be nice if the tank had a top...but it doesn't. Sometimes the fish gets stuck on the plants too. It comes with 3 button cell AG13 temporary batteries. I don't have those laying around and not sure how long these temporary batteries last but it does say to replace them right away.
