The mama bunny sits in the crate and waits for her sweet babies. We put the filler grass in the crate, added the bottle to the side which we filled with water. When you push the leafy green food item into the bunny&rsquo;s mouth her eyes close. It&rsquo;s so cute! The babies appeared and we put the collar (included) on him. The amount of babies that appear are random. We had two. The process can be performed over and over. The kids love caring for the mama and babies. My son actually asked me to whisper so the mama bunny could sleep. However we have a very active lifestyle and are often away from home which just wouldn&rsquo;t be fair. I must admit that I wasn&rsquo;t expecting much from this but I&rsquo;ve been pleasantly surprised. The set up does need an adult hand if on the younger side to ensure all the steps are followed to ensure a smooth &lsquo;delivery&rsquo; of the babies. However be warned though you have to wait for the babies to be &lsquo;born&rsquo; (drop from the hidden compartment in the roof) ours took just under an hour. If you follow the instructions on the back and included it&rsquo;s straight forward enough. We got lucky and had four bunny babies. The only minor annoyance is the little accessories (bow and bandana) for the babies aren&rsquo;t the easiest to fit and we managed to snap ours although not a huge overall lose. My little boy loved the process of looking after mummy then babies when they arrived, naming them and taking them for a little trip to grannies at the case is very portable. Nearly a month later and my little boy is still happily playing with his bunnies regularly. You need patience with this toy waiting for the babies to reveal the first time round. After we waited 30mins we realised we&rsquo;d missed removing one of the security keys (the one inside the hutch) so we think this may have hindered the workings so ended up making the reveal ourselves. Firstly mama bunny is going to have some babies in her pink cage which has a drop down accessible door at the front. This was a massive hit with my kiddos! My 4 year old is always asking for a pet and I'm a massive fan of having toy pets instead lol. The idea is that you care for the mama bunny while she is waiting to have her babies, it really brings out children's caring and nurturing side which is so lovely and my kids loved setting up the nest, feeding the bunny and were so super excited knowing the babies would arrive soon. I believe the babies are supposed to arrive 60minutes after the hutch door is closed and all of the &quot;tasks&quot; are complete, filling the water bottle and removing all the keys. After an hour and a half of waiting the babies still hadn't arrived so I did let them down manually, my kids were still super excited seeing the four cute little babies and thankfully didn't realise I had let them down myself. I love that it can be reset and played with again and again but do bare in mind that the babies fall instantly after the first time, I don't think there's a way to reset the timer. Overall, this is a fab toy for kids. There's lots to play with, and even little accessories and birth certificates for the baby bunnies too which is so cute. It's a very clever way to make something very real much simpler for children to understand. Mama bunny has extra features like when you feed her she looks at what she's nibbling on! which means lots of feeds for her, the interactive part for the initial reveal is great as it's helping g kids see that we nurture pets and care for them by giving them bedding and water so a good pre-pet arrival to help them prepare.
