They like hearing the alphabet song and pressing the buttons. However, I think toy does have some things that could be improved. The string is very short and very thin, so my one and a half year old has a hard time pulling it along. Secondly, even though this toy is called the &quot;Wooden AlphaPup&quot;, it is almost entirely plastic, and the only parts that are wood are the the panels on either side of the toy. She has not stopped playing with it since it arrived. She loves taking the dog for a walk, she loves animals especially dogs and Horses are her favorite. She loves how it lights up and sings and the tail wags back and forth. She also likes how it says the ABC. This toy is made really well out of wood and hard to break, I think it will last her for a long time. I love anything that helps my grandbaby learn and also teach her trying to get her to explore new things.
