You can put it on the ground or hang it up on a wall. My son is 4 and has been loving it. They don't really learn about the world countries and stuff until middle school, so this is a great tool to help him learn and be ahead of the game. It is also really fun and interactive. It has over 1000 fun facts about various countries, landmarks, natural wonders, oceans, continents, etc. Most of them I did not even know myself! It has three different games you can choose from to test yourself. It has been a great learning tool for both my son and myself.</span>

It has two volume settings, but we found that even on the higher volume, it was a little softer than we'd like. Both of my kids have always showed interest in the world around them and they thought this map was so cool. It is very colorful and detailed. Some of the items are very small, but this is understandable as they only have so much room to put everything without sacrificing the number of animals and locations. The touch function does take a good amount of pressure to register your finger, but I think it's just right or else you would have a lot of accidental touches. I believe this is something they will enjoy for years to come.</span>

It was talking so fast I didn’t have a chance to even find what it was asking before it was in to the next thing. I also couldn’t get it to interact. I was thinking by interacting it meant that it would tell me if I found the right or wrong thing. But it didn’t. Again, it could be because I had a hard time getting it to work properly. With that being said, it’s a child toy and it shouldn’t be so hard. I didn’t really care for it.</span>
