It's fun for my 4 year old who is really into picture and letter association and is great for my 1 year old who really likes the animals interactivity on the board. It has a small screen that doesn't display much. He loves listening to the various animal sounds and music. I especially love that it does the letter sounds so that he is beginning to get a foundation for reading later on. I also love the sturdy wooden design, it&rsquo;s much nicer looking than a lot of the cheap plastic kid&rsquo;s devices on store shelves these days. This board will get an enormous amount of use in our home so the only improvement I could think of would be the ability to charge it without removing the batteries. They all love this toy! It&rsquo;s actually a really solid piece and the build is very sturdy. The games are fun and very interactive and easy to follow along for both my 6 and 3 year old. My daughter is in pre-k and loves learning her letters, this has definitely been a lot of help with recognizing the letters and gives her a boost of confidence when it says &ldquo;super&rdquo; or &ldquo;awesome&rdquo; when she gets it right. My 6 month old will sit and play with it for a while because it sings to him and loves to make it light up. The buttons are super smooth and the kind that recognizes touch without being pushed, that&rsquo;s a big plus for those with little ones. The screen looks like a solid piece of wood when it&rsquo;s not in use, which I like - it&rsquo;s mind boggling how it lights up. I also like that it doesn&rsquo;t play songs/noises/talks for a while after you&rsquo;re done playing with it. Most electronic toys do that, and it drives me crazy. A couple things I would change though: the low sound setting is actually very loud, so the loud setting is obnoxiously loud. The other thing is, if you are done playing with it and come back later to play, you must turn it completely off and on in order for it to start working again.
