But what's great about this product is the fact that it also comes with blank slides and a large sample tray, so you can magnify objects around the house or whatever you're curious about! It's a cool product for sure but you definitely have to have an adult read through the instructions well and then teach the kids how to use it. Don't expect to just turn it on and have the kids start using it right away. There are some slides that have pre-built things on them but instead of high resolution images to explore it just loads an image already on the microscope for you to virtually explore. The toys are so fun and educational. I love all the new things they come out with and this microscope is great. Fun and educational.It comes with a digital microscope and a bunch of slides to put under the microscope and look at. The screen will play a video and show the images on the screen. There is a knob that lets you turn it to be able to look at the things to zoom in or out. We had a cheaper one but the kids said it was too hard to see so it just sat. They love this one! They (4&amp;6 boys) think it&rsquo;s cool to try to find something of their own to look at.
