I'm a homeschooling mom, and I have found that my kids learn best through play. The Magic Adventures Microscope is an amazing educational tool that I will gladly let my kids &quot;play&quot; with. This digital microscope does so much! It comes with smart slides that allow you take a closer look things like flowers, foods, cells and so much more. These smart slides are also packed with tons of BBC images and videos that take learning to the next level. There are also learning and adventure games built in! You can also create your own slide to use in the microscope, which features 200x magnification, as well as a tray for objects that won't fit onto a slide. We can also capture images and store them for later use. If you need extra space you can purchase up to a 32GB microSD card. We have implemented this Microscope into my son's science curriculum this year and he is absolutely loving it! I want to start by saying this is so cool! It comes with som many different slides that you just pop in then start exploring. It also comes with two slides you can put your own specimen in and we had so much fun doing that we looked at so many different flower petals from the garden. The screen makes it sooo nice that you don&rsquo;t have to put your eye up to it. Below the screen there are buttons that move the camera around. I don&rsquo;t have to help her much with using it because it literally tells and shows her what to do. Love that! Another great thing with the pre made slides is you learn all kinds of fun facts as your moving the camera around, also you can watch videos about that slide. My kindergartners become mini biologists and can zoom in on pictures and videos on eight different slides. The slides are double sided and include things like flowers, animals and food. You can also make your own slides by using the sample tray included in the box. I love how this microscope is actually functional and my kids love zooming in on different things up to 200x magnification. I also love that there&rsquo;s an added quiz feature designed into this microscope to test my kids&rsquo; knowledge. They both love it and at times, they don't want to share it but that's better now, especially when I tell them that if they don't share and take turns with it, then it becomes grandma's turn, there learning. It comes with 18 different topics that also shows videos that tell you more about what you are looking at and it has some blank ones where you can go and find your own specimens and look at them also, there are a few games on it that they can play, it will hold photos that they can take and share with others. And it also has challenges to test their knowledge of what they've been exploring.
