The new one doesn't allow for the option to customize by adding the child's name, favourite songs, etc. The swivel screen is awkward and doesn't sit flat in laptop mode. No you can not turn off the voume for the LeapFrog 2-in-1 LeapTop Touch Green - English Edition. You can choose between 2 volume selections.

For the LeapFrog 2-in-1 LeapTop Touch Green - English Edition, press the Paw button in laptop mode or press the music icon on the LCD screen to watch Scout dance to musical favorites. The Laptop plays nursery rhyme instrumental and sing along songs.
