I got this book for him to share with his older two brothers. They are 3 years old and 6 years old. I love how colorful this book is and super interactive with different modes(music, numbers/counting and reading out loud) it has. In addition, I love the duel languages it teaches the kids. All 3 boys are loving this, as their cousin is half Spanish and now my kids know a few words in Spanish and for fun are able to communicate with their cousin or friends. Now I wish LeapFrog would create a Russian mode so that we can gift it to our cousin and friends. This book really helps building vocabulary for various of ages in a fun and entertaining way. I also like that it's not too loud and it has 2 volume controls. With little ears, it's important to protect those ears for as long as we can! My 10 month old learned to flip pages and push buttons all on his own thanks to this book. He really sits there and listens for the words, I'm quite impressed. My 3 year old runs around telling me all the words he learned and points to stuff. My oldest tries to make sentences using the vocabulary in dual languages. Quite honestly, even my husband and I enjoyed learning Spanish from this book. This is a great book to take along with you in the car. It teaches your child while you are on the go. It says it is for 18+ and I will tell you all of my children of all ages including myself love to learn from this book. I enjoy learning Spanish. You are never too old to learn. She loves this book and has started really learning words for things around her. I noticed a huge upstep in her vocabulary and now she will point at objects around her and say their name. My five year old is also learning using the Spanish option and enjoys it. Only downside is this toy is very sensitive so little fingers make it change words non stop. This is a toy my hyper kids can sit and use nonstop for at least 15 minutes which is a big deal.
