The Lakewood has some really neat features that make it great for smaller yards but keep the kids playing all day long. First, the raised fort has a colorful awning and front wall with white trimmed window to make a cool clubhouse-like area up top. Down below there is another fort, with a front wall, window, and real door! And the side snack window has built-in bench just outside. Out on the swing beam there are two belt swings and an acrobat bar for plenty of swinging and clowning around. A standard step ladder gets the kids to the upper fort and their 8' speedy slide zips them back down again.

<span itemprop="description">It is a nice looking set, to be sure, but we had a few grievances with it. One of the boards was damaged in the box and it didn’t come with spare hardware. A bolt broke while installing and we had to scour our garage for a suitable replacement piece. The top coating on the darker wood has peeled off in some places. It creaks and wobbles when my 3 year old swings, despite the anchor rods being placed. The swings are so low they nearly touch the ground. Also took three adults a day and a half to assemble. If you have bigger kids (7+), I’d look into another set.</span>

The set was easy to put together with assistance from the BILT app. Two pieces that were not essential to the integrity of the structure were destroyed in the box but we moved forward without them because we wanted this done by Christmas. I recommend doing a better job with packaging and labeling each pieces. There were a lot of pieces with faded, hard to read labels. Also, a lot of the pieces were splitting when you start to screw into them. Seems to be a common issue with backyard’s products. Nonetheless, we are happy with the product.</span>

<span itemprop="description">Not easy to put together but a great value, good quality. Bought this for 3yo twins, they are 4 now and love it more than ever. I fully expect this to last them until they are 7-8yo. Needs a coat of stain or varnish out of the box and periodically (depending on climate) and it will stay looking nice. Very happy with this product.</span>
