This thing holds up to 120lbs and goes about 10 miles per hour. And this cool electric scooter holds a charge for up to 6 miles. So cool looking... So fun to ride.. It was a rainy weekend and the kids were pinned in side. The VIRO VR550E was begging to get out of the box. As you can see in the pictures it was packaged very well. The actual scooter box was packaged in an outside cardboard box for protection. When opening the scooter box you can also see how nice the scooter was protected and the power plug, user guide and assembly tools were easy to understand. The scooter was in two pieces but very easy to put together without even reading the directions. As you would guess the scooter had some charge in the battery from the MFG.. so yes I had to give it a spin. Given I am 200 plus and shouldn&rsquo;t be on a scooter like this but it was very sturdy and you could feel the quality built into it. Quickly my kids were fighting to get to ride it. I put the scooter to charge so they would have a full charge to ride. As I walked out of the room I heard the scooter shoot across the room with my son on it.. that was how the rest of the weekend went at the house. The kids have it parked in the living room and ride it daily. The only negative we have about it is the location of the charger port. For the kids it&rsquo;s very easy to plug in but for us older folks it requires getting down on the ground to find it. Over all this is a fun scooter and hours of fun to be had in the future. I wasn&rsquo;t sure if any of my kids would want, like, or use an electric scooter. Much to my surprise ALL 4 of my children were ready to test this out riding around the neighborhood. They got in roughly 35 minutes, maybe more before the battery was drained. The electric scooter is a bit heavy for my 9 year old to lift up or down off our porch but it isn&rsquo;t too cumbersome. My older teens, ages 13 and 14, have now used to several times to get back and forth to their friends house... which has shaved a few minutes off their travel time and got them home before curfew. My significant other has had just as much fun as the kids. The scooter goes 10mph depending on weight. The more weight it carries the slower it goes but my significant other and I both thought it still seems like it&rsquo;s going faster than we expected. The design is sleek. The scooter is a lot of fun for the whole family and was a big hit with all the kids. We have had other scooters in the past similar to the but VIRO Rides VR 550E Electric Scooter UL 2272 battery life does last a lot longer than our old electric scooter. We did receive this product to try out with her family this is my honest opinion.
