When I got this and started unboxing it, I knew how excited they would be as this scooter is so fun and it is very well built. Putting it together was very easy, I placed the handle bar into the main frame, and secured it nice and tight. It came with a slight charge already, and I was able to turn it on and give it a quick test before the kids got home from school. It is made of a nice quality material, as this electric scooter is not light and has a nice weight to it from the board area. The handle bar is also nicely made with a thicker material than I was expecting, which is nice because it helps my child have better grip and is more secure on this scooter. I charged it up for them, and surprised them while they were outside, and they were so excited to ride it around our neighborhood. They quickly drew a lot of attention from neighborhood kids, as they wanted to also try it out and ride it. It says it goes up to 10 miles an hour which I believe, as the go speed on this is nice and the speed is consistent as well. I like to go jogging, and now my kids like to ride beside me using this electric scooter which is nice and gives us more time to enjoy each other's company. The brakes work great as well, and slow down when needed and it slows down easily to a halt. I like the included lights on the foot board, as I like knowing that cars will be able to see this scooter easily with the lights shining. I have to also mention, the included kickstand is very appreciated as it helps keep the scooter in great condition. Not only does it keep him happy but it's also quite sturdy and to be frank very safe and easy to ride. The brake once squeezed in (just like a bike brake) responds instantly and the button on the right handle to speed it up does not go lightening fast but at a safe and steady speed. My son mainly uses his scooter in the evening hours when we walk our dog and the safety lights on this scooter are ultra bright and visible from far distances. When we first received our scooter I charged it an entire 8 hours and my son used it 3x for approximately 70 minutes before this scooter began finally lost battery. From a parents point of view the battery life is pretty awesome on a full charge, it lasted a lot longer than I expected it would before having to recharge it. It weighs around 30 lbs and is very well made. The scooter was super easy to put together. Took maybe 10 minutes. Make sure to fully charge it before using, which takes approximately 10-12 hours (comes with a charging cable). The scooter will go up to 10 mph and the battery time will last around 40 minutes. This scooter will work best on flat surfaces as the tires are a hard plastic material. My son is 8 and fits the scooter perfectly. The maximum weight limit according to the manual is 120 lbs. The main power switch is at the bottom of the scooter by the kickstand. When the power is on, there is a LED that lights up next to the power button. The throttle to &quot;go&quot; is a red button on the right handlebar. The left handlebar has the hand brake. Really pleased with this product. The scooter is well made. The scooter it self was put together and all you need to do is attach handle and charge the battery. The charge time according to instructions is 10-12 hours. I charged the scooter overnight and was ready to go in the morning. The battery it self is inside the scooter. There is a plug that you put into the bottom of the scooter. Makes it's easy to charge the battery without having to remove a bunch of parts. The scooter it self is a bit heavy. The weight according to instructions is 30.45 lbs. Which for smaller children might be a bit for them to move them self's. The height of scooter is 36 inches. My son who is 8 easly can ride with no problems. The weight limit is 120 lbs. There is a kickstand that is very helpful to keep scooter upright. It's very easy to use kick stand with your foot. The added led lights on the bottom of scooter are a plus for night time. My son loves the lights. The tires are a solid plastic which is a plus. There is only one throttle button to make it go. And a hand brake to stop. But if you let go on throttle button it will stop moving. He already has a non electric scooter so he was so happy when we received the electric scooter. It was fairly easy to assemble and didn&rsquo;t take long at all to put together. The scooter came in a pretty blue color and is well made enough to hold my 75 pound 8 year old. It says it goes up to 10mph but so far hasn&rsquo;t really been able to go that fast so may be better for lighter kids to use. It does have some trouble getting up to speed on a slight incline. I love that it&rsquo;s rechargeable though which saves on batteries. I also like that it has the brake on the handlebars which is easy for my son to get to when riding. One of the features they loved was that it was electric and they didn't have to paddle their feet. This scooter goes about 5-10mph which is nice. It allowed my kids to go around the block or to the park quickly and back. One of the biggest downfalls with this scooter is it takes several hours to charge back up and doesn't last near as long having fun with it. The look of the scooter is great, it's easy to assemble, and the color is really nice but it's just not internally designed well. There is no gradual increase or decrease speed ability. The motor is incased in plastic which is easy to break on a crack or rock on the sidewalk. The motor is the biggest issue. It's just not powerful enough to even get this scooter up to speed &amp; as for riding up a very tiny incline? No way. I discovered that it was a super solidly built scooter! There is nothing flimsy or cheaply made about this! Setup was super easy for me. I was able to get it up and running in no time. There&rsquo;s definitely a bit of a learning curve in getting on and moving in a coordinated manner, but it&rsquo;s doable. My kiddos 5+ all were able to get on it and scoot around in just minutes. The charge lasts long enough for a solid period of play and charges easily.
