<span itemprop="description">this is a challenging and fun build. i did make a small mistake way back at the start with the assembly of the wing but thank the stars no damage done towards the end of the build and i could recover with very little assembly my only negative feedback would be to suggest with builds like this that require substantial instruction booklets that the booklets have spiral binders so each page can lie flat.</span>

I have done the three Lego "supercars", the Ferrari Daytona, Lamborghini Sian, and the Bugatti Chiron, and they were all fantastic. But the McLaren P1 is on another level! The most detailed Lego Technic vehicle that I have ever done. And the door mechanism is just amazing. Yes, it is expensive, but all of the larger sets are. But I think that you will be very pleased when you see the finished product! I've done over 50 sets, but this is by far the best one!</span>

The recent purchase the box was damaged and I was told that I would have to return the whole thing just to get a box that was not damaged. So that I wasn’t happy about do kept the damaged box. There have been a couple steps that either were challenging because I have larger fingers, or are difficult to read where the parts were being placed on the core. It's a bit pricey, but I think it's worth the cost. I'm looking forward to finishing this build, as well as getting LED lights installed to customize the build.

When I found out this set was coming out from videos via McClaren I had pick this up, each bag was a fun step of the process including the transmission, I loved each step the build even tho it was quite a challenge. I did feel the price was high when compared to the piece amount but the box, the build process, to how it looks would say it’s worth the quality. Even tho I feel the front looks more like a 570s I can see the front shape of the P1 when looking very closely just gotta see how the headlights make shape then go it’s not super bad. Besides the point was a great experience overall would build again</span>

<span itemprop="description">If you want something that's technical and complex and that will challenge you, this is the set. The functionality crammed into this build is unbelievable. The value in this set is in the experience, the engineering, and the presentation. The finished product is also amazing. I can't put it away because I keep wanting to tinker with it. In fact, this is the first set that I enjoyed playing with just the subassemblies before it was even finished! That's how cool the build is.</span>

<span itemprop="description">Encore une fois je n'ai pas pu résister et j'ai commandé la McLaren P1 afin de compléter ma collection des voitures 1:8.
Le plaisir de montage est toujours au rendez-vous et le rendu un des meilleurs avec la Lamborghini. Je félicite la qualité de production de Lego et son service "Qualité" vu qu'encore une fois, sur les plus de trente set monté (et des plus gros) aucune pièce n'était manquante et j'ai pu finaliser la construction sans stress...
Par contre je trouve les nouveaux sachets sont moins pratique et demande de la vigilance lors de leur ouverture, il arrive fréquemment que des pièces restent coincées sans qu'il soit possible de le voir comme dans les anciens par transparence.
Dans tous les cas merci à LEGO pour cette nouvelle expérience et j'attend avec impatience le prochain SET qui j'espère ne mettra pas deux ans avant d'être sur le marché.
Juste quand même une remarque il serait nécéssaire de revoir la robustesse des amortisseurs ceux de la McLaren F1 ont lâchés ainsi que ceux de la Ferrari après juste quelques mois posé sur une étagère</span>
