I was most shocked by the price for what was actually received. I doubt LIEBHERR will be very impressed after seeing the reviews for this kit. If you just have to have it go ahead. If your on the fence, jump and run to something else.</span>

<span itemprop="description">Major complaint, NOISEY tracks that crack and pop as crane travels. Removed tracks and ran motors, worked fine and no noise, reinstalled tracks and lifted unit so no contact with ground, no noise while running. Placed crane on table or ground, ran under its own weight and tracks crack and pop while moving. This is why I gave it 3 star rating.</span>

<span itemprop="description">This Liebherr Crawler Crane LR 13000 proves to be an astounding set that left me utterly impressed, particularly by its sheer size – a true behemoth! The main boom/jib boasts an impressive extension, reaching substantial distances, and effortlessly retracting to its towering height.
The build experience was nothing short of remarkable; I dedicated a couple of afternoons and evenings during a week off from work to assemble this marvel and handful of other sets I purchased on the 1st, also my birthday. The incorporation of new techniques and new components, alongside the integration of all the electronics, as well as the intricate string-threading to enable the amazing functionality, collectively render this Lego set the most operationally versatile one I've ever had the pleasure of constructing and playing with.
The accompanying app has become an almost daily routine now, allowing me to engage in playful interactions, orchestrating intricate movements of the crane across the room, or daringly selecting random items or sets to try hoist with precision.
I actually can't wait to deconstruct it and relish the joy of rebuilding it all over again; I haven't had a feeling like that in many many years, even with all the recent amazing set's I've purchased this past year.
Without a doubt, this stands as my favorite set of the year, hands down!</span>

<span itemprop="description">Après l'avoir acheté le 1er août, le jour de sa sortie je n'ai pas pu m'empêcher d'assembler cette bête. Elle est très impressionnante lorsqu'elle est assemblée, de nombreux détails sont identiques à la vraie grue Liebherr LR13000 qui est capable de lever jusqu'à 3000 tonnes !!! Les détails sont assez soignés sauf au niveau de la cabine qui aurait pu être plus détaillée. Grâce à l'application Control+, même adulte on redevient enfant au contrôle de ce jouet ingénieux. Hâte de voir le prochain chef d'oeuvre en collaboration avec les ingénieurs de Liebherr.
PS : Une grue mobile LTM1650 ou 11200 serait impressionnante tant par les finitions que l'ont pourrait y apporter que par la complexité du montage.</span>

<span itemprop="description">I wanted this set to be great - I really did. The other Technic cranes to this point have been fantastic, so I had high hopes for this massive set. The trouble started almost as soon as I opened the first manual. Multiple steps are not in logical order, pieces to add are often not highlighted, there are very, very few "actual size" references, and the model orientation turns without notification. As some others have noted, the intricacy of the gearing normally seen in a Technic model is not present here. The piece count issue isn't as big of a deal when thinking about all the individual parts combined into the new truss assembly pieces. The aesthetics of this model don't meet the normal realistic approach of Technic models. Understanding that scale comes into play with a model like this, there are still ways to provide a more polished model. Lifting capacity is no where close to what would be expected when looking at the real crane on which this model is based. The inability to get additional pieces from this model (more truss sections, additional counterweights) is very disappointing. Overall, for the price, this was a flat out miss.</span>

<span itemprop="description">I consider myself an expert builder, as I've built all the large Technic, Star Wars and Harry Potter sets. The Liebherr, however, is in a different league. It's not so much the complexity of the build, but you've really got pay close attention - super close attention - or you will end up with sore fingers as you try and go back and fix your mistake. It was a fun challenge, but there were a few moments were it did border on frustration. One of those had to be the first set of cabling (thread): the video was helpful, but moves a little too fast (note, too, the perspective of the video is from a distance, so it's hard to see which rung you need to run the thread over). I eventually figured it out, and the other steps involving cabling weren't as bad; still, it was frustrating. Also, the "Check Your Build" steps are nice, but they don't really indicate the amount of variability in what your model will look versus what is shown in the app (some bits of model were sagging/otherwise not perfectly straight as shown in app, so thought I'd done something wrong). Finally, the counterweights need to be secured: whenever you slightly move the crane they fall off -- this is really frustrating. Ultimately, I think this is a great set -- and a very big set, too (it dwarfs the Star Wars ATAT). Is it worth the high price? If you're a devoted LEGO fan, especially of large sets, I think you'll enjoy it. But this is most certainly not one for the meek!</span>

The set misses most of the essence of Technic having a series of motors is great, but there are barely any of the connection and gearing intricacies that make good Technic sets great. No cleverness in the functions.
It looks awful from any angle other than the judiciously chosen marketing shot ones. It's just unfinished. The whole point of panels is to cover things up; whether this is desirable or not is another question, but if a set uses them, then cover up battery packs etc. This besides the pointless and ugly unnecessary colors used (blue pins etc).
Outrageously expensive. Few parts, low weight (apart from the counterweights), the chassis and tracks look very different from the real version.
The counterweights don't have any studs or antistuds, arguably making them not Lego.
both companies should be ashamed.

<span itemprop="description">This set is huge, the features are on par with real Liebherr cranes and the rigging is done similarly as well. It's super satisfying once all completed and I would highly recommend. I understand the price is high, but when you compare to other sets at this price point you'll see that this set is actually capable of moving and functioning under its own power unlike many others.</span>

<span itemprop="description">This set is amazing. It mimics the real life version of the Liebherr 13000 heavy lift crane. The power functions which can be controlled via smart phone make this an absolute joy to play with as well as teach basic concepts of weight and movement. Excellent tool for learning. The app does an amazing job of showing you load capacity, which will set off a warning if the machine is in danger of tipping. The crane moves effortlessly.</span>
