The engine and differential build was crazy to me in a toy set. It is a nice size and looks great on display. As others have said the contrast on the instructions made it a little hard to tell the difference between navy blue and black pieces, however it didn&rsquo;t stop me from building. I felt like the value for you money is incredible given the size of the build. Unfortunately my new puppy chewed on the set while I was at work so the display was short-lived. I&rsquo;m a lifelong car enthusiast and recently started building Legos again. This set was somewhat challenging, but most Technic sets are and it&rsquo;s part of the reason I enjoy them. But it wasn&rsquo;t quite as challenging as the larger scale Technic cars. I really enjoyed this build all the way through. The stickers came on a small sheet and most are very forgiving as far as aligning them. A bit confused as to why Lego decided to use stickers on several of the white stripes since the majority are white Lego pieces. But no deal breaker by far. I love that the wing lifts up and down via the small lever in the car. And I liked the clear cylinder heads. I would have loved to see grey or dark grey pistons rather than the standard Technic yellow. But again, not a big deal. There are some areas that don&rsquo;t have strong reinforcement when pinning parts onto the car. But they are easily recognizable by feel before you apply pressure if you&rsquo;re familiar with Technic sets. Challenging for my big hands sometimes lol. I&rsquo;m not a fan of the exterior knob that turns the front wheels personally. Speaking of front wheels, that is my one complaint about my car. The drivers side front ground effect sticks about 1/4&rdquo; too far back and touches that wheel preventing it from turning much at all. Looking at the car from the bottom, everything is aligned correct from side to side. That part is equal length on both sides. So I&rsquo;m guessing there was a small defect on one of the pieces that that holds the center pin for that wheel which left that wheel angled a bit forward. It&rsquo;s the only thing I can think of since everything on the body is symmetrical brim above and below. The car will still roll forward and backwards allowing the pistons to move with the front wheels straight though. Not a huge factor for me since I build and display. But for that, I did give the play rating 4 stars. I would have been bummed if I were young and wanted to play with it. But aside from that, I&rsquo;m very happy with the build and would buy it again. I also like the color. I really hope Lego decides to release more vehicles in the price range and build quality. The only two complaints I have is first on the instruction. Some of the angles of the diagrams are a little hard to see due to the dark colors used. The blues and blacks are so close you may have trouble seeing the lines. The second issue is that on my build, the rear cv joints going to the differential gear need to be about 1mm longer. Due to the tight tolerances, the joints will not stay in the gears which in turn rotate the engine pistons. I ended up removing the differential and using small e-clips to hold the axles in place. I've always been a fan of the GT and it was exciting to see one being made in the technic lineup. The doors and spoiler mechanic is pretty cool and it's unique to see transparent engine pieces to view the pistons easily. However, I did find that fitting the rear part of the cars panels to be a bit cumbersome. Specifically the two panels that overlap over the engine bay. Other than that, this model is exceptionally well designed. As others have mentioned, the transparent engine block does help show off the working pistons. Whilst this does look fantastic, part of me prefers the dark grey blocks, as I feel it keeps within the aesthetics of the engine.
