Instructions are clear &amp; easy to follow. And it came a lot earlier than expected. My only complaint is that it doesn&rsquo;t call for a way to connect the tv to the stand. It just sits on stand. We did connect tv by using extra pieces that we had. Another reason is that I didn&rsquo;t get one of the parts that belong in the set ,which is the grey tube for the antenna and it was not in the bag. I built this with my partner, who has recently gotten into the nostalgic Lego sets, and also prefers the Technic themed ones (compared to the Modular sets I usually go for!). We had a lovely time building this set together. Firstly, the build is huge and the Nintendo console system looks absolutely stunning when finished. We managed to get the screen mechanism to work first time and the hidden working components are very clever. I particularly liked the attention to detail, such as the knob on the TV which clicks when turned, just like an original TV set! However, there are some elements of the build that let it down a little. The instruction booklets are not as clear as others we&rsquo;ve used, although better than the black pages they&rsquo;ve started using on some of the recent adult sets. It&rsquo;s hard to see where the parts are to be fitted (as not highlighted) and there were several parts left from bag 18, when the instructions indicated to start on bag 19. Also a bit where one flat plate needed to be turned to put 1x1 studs on the bottom of it, but this wasn&rsquo;t indicated clearly. I think it would be very challenging for less experienced builders. The most disappointing part was at the very end when you realise the stand does not fix securely to the bottom of the TV, instead it just balances on! We came up with our own method of fixing it on (just to make it easier to move when dusting!), by attaching a couple of corner blocks to stop it moving accidentally, and a flat 1x6 and 1x8 on the shorter outer edges, just overlapping the D parts, to keep the stand attached to the main base when lifted up.
