Rubbish Minifigures and Worse designer comments. Lego has neglected the prequel series for UCS sets in place of constantly making reworks. The designer stated that the &quot;yellow clone&quot; doubles as a commander and pilot, You have given a pilot with all UCS sets lately but what? you're too lazy to do it now! Lego is also releasing the minifigures in cheaper sets removing some of the incentive of buying the set. Don't try blaming poor sales of this set on people not wanting it and take resposibility for cutting the feet out from under it. In future don't ask the fans what they want if you're not going to deliver or only go half way. You easily could have include a single minifigure and done a detailed clone pilot! The technic/lego build ratio was perfect and nothing was too repetitive. I like others enjoyed the printed bubbles, I personally have had no issues keeping them together, they snapped together fine for me. My only complaint would be the weak sliding doors, have had those fall off a few times cuz I like that feature. Can easily be reinforced though. Was missing 1 piece overall and given an extra by mistake, also those big white plate pieces, I think they need to be packed separately in future. I have to say the colors in this set are epic and spot on, I love the fact the doors move and they have rotating cannons, over all this set was a joy to build and the instructions were very well done. Ordered it right away. Set it self has nice pieces, awesome color scheme. After the build the set feels bulky, not sturdy, and unfortunately as someone mentioned before it keeps coming apart. It is not easy to display on a shelf. Be aware that wings are set in place and there is no way to adjust them. Every time I move it something falls off. Yes I even took some of it apart to double check it. This is definitely a set that one can build and display it but it is not a play set. Part of me wants to just take it apart and store it a box (probably won&rsquo;t happen because I just love all my Lego too much) . I would recommend it for an adult not for kids. When I find a proper way to display it I will share some images. When he opened it, he showed me and my husband how far he made it in one day, so then the next day, he went to finish it when he noticed that a lego stabbed him in the thumb. He is only 7, so he is not smart enough to know that sucking your thumb is not the best idea. He sucked it and a little stud got stuck in his throat. I was not there when it happened, all we know is that the doctors removed a square block with 4 circles. My son could have died! The doors don&rsquo;t fully close and open. I think the advanced expert builders at lego could have spent more time making those fully functional. Them not closing flush irks me. 2. The two cockpits don&rsquo;t open and close. So now the last two UCS builds (A Wing and Republic Gunship) don&rsquo;t have opening cockpits. 3. Like everyone else, the mini figure selection is lacking big time. I&rsquo;m happy with the purchase and the display aspect is great.
