Since I love the Geonosis scenes from Attack of the Clones, I wanted to get this set. Most of the reviews I read about the set were complaining about the lack of minifigures, which I think is harsh and unrelated. This is the UCS set of a ship, which you buy to display more than play with (I think it's pretty impossible to play with as it's quite heavy and I couldn't find a good point to carry it from). And as it even says in the building instructions booklet, the figures are not to-size when compared to the ship itself. Therefore it would still be weird to play with even if you had more minifigures. Also, it has the same number of minifigures as the Imperial Star Destroyer, which costs twice as much. Regarding that, you could called this great value for money with minifigures as well. That out of the way, it was insanely fun to build with nice details and different build techniques. Love the rotating rockets on top. One detail I especially like is how the technique pieces inside the ship resemble the naked metals you'd find in military aircraft etc. The number of stickers isn't that high and I think they are mostly easily applicable. One thing I wish all sets with a 'description tablet' would have is that tablet as a printed piece. It's a large sticker and quite difficult to apply without any air bubbles. I said it's pretty large and therefore unplayable and gave a 5* for playability because even if you cannot whoosh around with the set, there is still a lot of moving parts you can play with. The sliding doors, rotating rockets, cannons etc. Overall great set, great value. Weak and flimsy because pieces would fall off and apart as you build. Several times I had to remove the top center where the pilots sit to fix pieces that came undone. Also the bottom would become weak as I would prepare to wallMount it. The back side was also another weak area where it came undone. Lastly the back top would also come undone as doing the wings. Maybe it&rsquo;s due to my gorilla huge hands when this requires small nimble ones. Not much for imagination is due to the inability to set up a &ldquo;scene&rdquo; if you will as a display because the gunner bubbles on the wings lack seats the way the ones on the side doors have them. Also only two mini figs (compared to the daily bugle which comes with practically every character of Spider-Man universe ever created). Just could have been so much more I think. Overall it&rsquo;s a great build in terms of view and spectacle. The unit is a display piece in my opinion, so does not warrant a review on the playability point. Purchasers should note that IT'S VERY BIG. You should check the dimensions and where you are going to display it before you purchase. Apart from wall mounting it on it's side (hard to do), the unit consumes a lot of shelf/ corner space. I think it's harder to display than the UCS Falcon. I gave it a 4 rating for 2 reasons. The first is that the Gunship steps away from the general UCS tenant that the models are proportionate to the mini fig size. This gunship is way bigger. But lots of fans wanted LARGE and they got it for sure. The second reason is the number of mini figs - 2 is very poor at this price point). Star Wars is important to many people and this felt insulting to prequel fans. If you're careful you can take it off the stand and pretend to fly it! This has resulted in quite a few gabs in the overall build which is really disappointing and frustrating for our son. We are 100% confident that it has been build properly but it just looks like it is made of fake lego and not the usual study finish we normally get. The attention to detail and the overall look of the ship are captured extremely well, and when you add in some Minifigures, it looks very, very close to the ship in the series and the movie. It could be massively improved with secondary doors that make a seal in the cabin like the older minifigure scale sets (7676-1 and 75021-1) and printing, at least for the Republic insignia?! At this price enthusiasts will pay but I'm an adult now and as a kid I idolized 7676-1 in the Lego magazines and I wish I bought that online instead of this. Should be enough to fill the pilot seats and guns at least? I was excited to see that this set won the vote. I agree with the complaint about the minifigure choice but that's a broken record at this point.
