I was 11 years old when I saw the first Star Wars movie in the cinema in 1979 and this set captures Mos Eisley perfectly.
I had to buy it before it was retired as it’s a part of my childhood and look forward to building it and putting it on display.

<span itemprop="description">I’ll start with the negatives since there are only a couple (1.5 really), which is I was missing a single small/non-essential piece for one of the booth roof covers. And I think one of the pages in the instruction manual had a small 1” rip.
Positives are basically everything else. Love the build. My young son and I really had a lot of fun over days of building. Tons of mini figures from the movie. I wish there were even more but 21 + dewback is pretty nice already. Surprisingly sturdy, and the complementary buildings are very nice additions to the cantina. Just a great set overall, and thrilled to have it.</span>

<span itemprop="description">As a nearly 50 year old Star Wars and Lego fan, one of the greatest days for me was when Lego took on the Star Wars brand 25 years ago in 1999. When I think about iconic Star Wars scenes, the 3-5 minute period of time in A New Hope spent in the Mos Eisley Cantina is among the most iconic. This set captures that so well. It brings all the coolness that is Star Wars front and center for us all to see. The minifigs are amazing, the build is dead accurate and managed to take me back to the late 70’s when I happened upon this little story that became an obsession. This is probably one of my most favorite Lego Star Wars sets for that very reason. It recaptures what has always been so cool about Star Wars. Great job Lego!</span>
