<span itemprop="description">The whole thing is not the most accurate to starwars, the doors are not the best, the bubble guns are horrendous, and the control room in front of the cockpit is empty and needs to have something there. The integrity of the build is very very well made and sturdy, the figures for padme, palpatine, and the coruscant guard troopers are amazing, but the captain fox is subpar. For starters its chest is wrong, and it’s pink where it should be white. 2nd the the fact that the leg print pattern doesn’t go all the way around is lazy, and that includes the normal clones as well. The visor is supposed to be black, and the kilt that’s supposed to be around his waist is printed on the front of his legs which is very ugly.</span>

<span itemprop="description">My son wanted this because it is a gunship which he could buy with his own money and was readily available. After looking at build instructions for the 2013 republic gunship, I told him I would try to add turrets to the wings so he went forward with the purchase.
I made modifications to create double doors, add turrets on wings and cargo to look and function like the 2013 republic gunship, and a simple command station - now it has much better play experience and overall look.
The spud turret is a good idea but should have been integrated under the wing and coupled with functioning wing turrets (this is what i did). The wings need to be widened by 2 spuds to create the hole for the minifig.
The height profile is 2 spuds too short - the cargo turrets from 2013 almost swing inside.
The interior space has plenty of spuds for minifigs but the opening is too narrow to easily fit a closed hand through (i.e. holding a minifig between finger and thumb) - converting to double-doors helps.
The front cargo space is odd - a minifig can sit but the entire head is blocked by the door when open - increasing the height by 2-4 spuds would help.
The design for the ball turrets at the front works well to keep them on.
The back opening is just asking for a speeder bike to be included but really i would prefer the above mods over a single speeder.
The low sticker count is nice.
It is great to see Padme in a set again but more troopers should have also been provided at the price (especially given the design choices)
The Commander Wolf figure is...unfortunate - the printing which is supposed to be white are pink on the helmet and torso. I can accepting the printed kama (barely), the poor coloring is shameful.
If it had the mods to give better play experiences, it would be priced correctly. As is, the mods were almost as much as the set (I could have done for less but only by half).
I have ordered replacements for Wolf and Lego has always been good to me. I hope they reduce the price to allow people to afford this plus after-market parts for mods.</span>

While the doors nor minifig printings aren’t canonically accurate, I do enjoy the set and the build was not as repetitive as I was expecting. I wish the interior was bigger and it’d be cute if there were handholds, but Lego does tend to skimp on Star Wars sets because they still sell (unfortunately it works).</span>

<span itemprop="description">Over all this Gunship looks nice. I love the idea of getting a different style/colored variation. This version is definitely scaled down compared to its past iterations. I’m Not the biggest fan of scaled down ships, especially when they’re more expensive than the previous versions. My biggest complaint is the figs. Yes the selection is great but they range in quality. Padme is an important character in Star Wars and uses a recycled face print. Not to mention its from a character thats in the SAME UNIVERSE. They have a perfectly good design from 2013 and the video game that truly represents the character features in a Lego form… Im not getting into the Clones. We all have said enough about the ugly weird shaped helmets and holes. My biggest issue with current Lego Star Wars is the lack of attention to detail on these modern mini figs.</span>

<span itemprop="description">I missed the opportunity to purchase the older ones so this was a day one buy for me. This set is really good and is minifigure scale which looks great on display. My only concern is the Commander Fox minifigure. It does not have a waist cape (they are printed now) and the visor is the wrong color (supposed to be black) the body print instead of red is more pink and that is kind of annoying. Apart from that this is a very good set.</span>

<span itemprop="description">The gunship colors are great, but it really is lacking in its design. I am very disapointed that this design doesn't have ball turrets on the wings as a gunship normally does. Not onlt that, but the gunship is smaller compared to models previously. This leads to the carvo area being crampt and unable to hold many clones as it should. The worst part of the set has to be the minifigures. Commander Fox is a disaster. The printing is all wrong and the color almost looks pink. I am very sad that lego didn't put effort into making sure the details of this figure were accurate.</span>

<span itemprop="description">Cool but missing so much. The first thing that strikes me is the relatively small ship with a big price. No pods, doors are wrong, stud shooters, scale is off, and missing many key features of the gunship that would have been simple to add like the missiles for the top, double-doors, and so on. I would have preferred a normal looking, play scale, w/ good detail, gunship.
The figures are okay. Haven’t seen Padme and Palp for awhile. Not a fan of the holes in the troopers helmets. They look very odd and always catch my eye in a bad way.
This is okay. It just lacks so many of the things that make a gunship awesome like accurate features, sizing, and a reasonable cost.
The last version was far superior and cost less when adjusted for today. It’s definitely difficult to find true value in the cost of Lego the last few years. It’s always less for higher cost now and this is the most profitable toy company in the world. You would think fair-value would enter the picture somewhere but unfortunately not.</span>

<span itemprop="description">The build on this set is perfect for intermediate builders like myself. I have built 4 UCS and the coliseum but still consider myself an intermediate. Love the colors and very durable set. Something all Star Wars fans can enjoy.</span>

<span itemprop="description">The republic gunship is my absolute favorite star wars ship, and was very excited to here about this one because it was a twist on my favorite ship, yet this ended up being a disappointment. Commander fox is red with pink because it looks like there wasn't even enough paint used to cover the red. This is also absolutely tiny you can barely even get counted to fit in the gunship the interior cabin is so small, and if you want to fit more than 2 clones in you have to pop off the wings to get them to fit and even then fitting 6 is tight, could easily get 10+ in all the others. It's an absolute dwarf of a set, and we lost a lot of fun features. The underneath of the cockpits has always had a fun play feature, with ball guns, (or in the show some have spotlights) and the back ramp is absolutely tiny, if you opt for no clones and try and force a speeder like the old ones had, it might fit, if you're lucky.</span>

<span itemprop="description">Despite the overall truncated dimensions, this set successfully represents the gunship's aesthetic. So much so, I'm hopeful this set's design will serve as a template for other versions of the gunship to be released in the future. Sure, Commander Fox's printing leaves a lot to be desired. Very unfortunate to have the white on his chest come out looking very pink. The other mini figs are great. Would be nice to have a bit more space inside for storage and perhaps play. As an AFOL, I'm not too concerned with the latter, but can see the potential for other audiences. The single doors on both sides don't bother me at all. They function quite well and look nice. This is a play-scale set after all, aimed at a generally younger audience. So there are inevitable compromises many adult collectors will notice and gawk at. High marks on the overall accuracy vs the source material. The size is great for display. Which is primarily why I bought this set. I'm happy with it. Roll out additional iterations, please?</span>

<span itemprop="description">It's a nice model, wish it was a bit bigger though. I do like how it's from the Coruscant Guard. It's a nice Maroon color. Can't wait for more clone wars. Episode 2/3 sets. Also on a side note if the lego designers are making another turbo tank set, make it as large as the 2010 set at least.</span>

<span itemprop="description">The build is pretty easy to follow and looks very clean, but it is not a hundred percent accurate for people who want it to be. I would say it is perfect for play and I would recommend it.</span>
