Specifically they love Lego clone troopers, so when this set was announced we knew we had to get them each one, so ordering this was a first thing on the 1st in this house. The shipping was the fastest I&rsquo;ve ever had for a new released set with regular shipping, so mad props to the warehouse and shipping folks at Lego on this. I appreciate that this set has 2 instruction booklets meaning I could work on the walker build while the kiddos worked on the clones/droids and their vehicles. The build is pretty easy, and is very fun to play with. The kids definitely were excited about the shock trooper, and I personally think the stap is the most exciting part of this set. It evokes the original set I had as a kid (Yeah, Jar Jar and Qui-Gon in the swamp), but with some modern upgrades. From a set set composition perspective, I&rsquo;m a little confused as to why it comes with the shock trooper but my kids sure don&rsquo;t care. I've built it enough times to have committed it to memory already. 1.) Basic Clones are amazing to have, especially 3 of them. 2.) Rereleasing the shock trooper is great for people like myself who never got the original. 3.) The new SBD body is a chefs kiss. 4.) the vehicles for the price point are astounding. 5.) The parts you get if you decide to not build are fantastic for small accents. 6.) The tri-droid is awesome. 7.) This is a legit &quot;Battle&quot; pack. My only complaint about this set is the Tri-droids build, the pieces used should've been used for other pieces that have the same utility and would arguably look better (A 1x3 plate was used for the foot when a 1x3 inverted tile would've been better and a hidden part in a very cool color). Great value. Entry level build for my clone wars loving son. New Phase 2 clones and super battle droids. I give it 5 stars for sure. I bought 2 so I could experience the build myself and I felt that the clones were missing the helmet attachments (black antenna or visor). A neck paldron or cape whether plastic of fabric would of been amazing for the new p2 clones. I added my phase 1 attachments and they look awesome. I would of paid more for the set if it included items like that. The new speeder was simple and a great addition to play function especially when you have 2 sets. There&rsquo;s not a single flaw I can think of. Both clones and droids with the brough back plain white clone troopers aswell as the super battle droids. The only thing people could complain about is the helmet holes but in my opinion if they brought pack plain p2s without them it would be criminal to those who like making custome clones with different parts. My sons were really pleased to add phase 2 clones to their collection and bolster their clone AND droid collection. Nice to see the Battle Droid redesign to take into account past challenges with clip strength etc. Sure, the clone sub builds are a bit simple, but the thrust of this battle back is all about the mini figs.
