I wanted a decent sized set (1000+ pieces) and since I'm a Star Wars fan, I decided to go with BD-1. It wasn't overly simple but it wasn't difficult either and was so much fun. BD-1 now lives by my desk to keep me company and I definitely plan on getting a new set soon (maybe R2D2).</span>

<span itemprop="description">I am a fan of Lego, Star Wars, and the video game Jedi Fallen Order. Building my in game companion was fun and a satisfying build overall. The one downside I think is that there is only one color scheme option out of the box. I may have to search out pieces to customize my BD-1 to more match my in game preferred color scheme. I think this is a great droid to replicate in Lego because it is almost actual size when built. The other droids like R2 and even D-O have to be scaled down to be a reasonable price. Since BD-1 is smaller the Lego version feels like an exact replica.</span>
