Only thing really rare here is the Omega minifig which you would otherwise have to track down the expensive and out-of-production Cad Bane set for. This one did not disappoint. In fact we returned the Marvel one for this one. Pros: Has a couple adorable new Holiday figures, both unique. All the builds are new and clever and they all feel like a fair little surprise each day. With the exception of the two base sets they are all playable for the kids. Cons: For the price Lego wants for the advents now...they should be including more figures. From the moment I opened the box, I was greeted with a sense of regret that only grew as I assembled each day's tiny disappointment. First and foremost, the quality of the pieces left much to be desired. It felt like I was handling flimsy plastic rather than the sturdy LEGO bricks I've come to expect. Many of the pieces didn't even fit together properly, leading to constant frustration and the feeling that I was fighting against the set rather than enjoying it. The minifigures included in the set were underwhelming, to say the least. Instead of exciting characters from the Star Wars universe, I was given obscure droids and generic stormtroopers. Where were the iconic figures that would have made this calendar special? Additionally, the set lacked creativity. Most of the builds were uninspired and lacked the wow factor that one would expect from a LEGO Star Wars product. The repetitive use of blasters and small accessories quickly grew tiresome, leaving me with a sense of d&eacute;j&agrave; vu each time I opened a new door. Finally, the price point for this Advent Calendar is simply outrageous for what you get. It's clear that LEGO is capitalizing on the Star Wars brand to charge a premium, but the value just isn't there. I could have purchased better LEGO sets for the same amount of money. In conclusion, the LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendar set was a letdown in every sense. The low-quality pieces, uninspiring builds, lackluster minifigures, and exorbitant price make this a purchase I deeply regret.
